Just a flying post from me, my DD has finally exchanged contracts on her house, it's taken months, all down to Catalyst Housing, I used to work for them so I had a feeling it would be a nightmare.
Have a good evening everyone

Evening,
yep, I did go shopping - didn't get any tops in the end as I couldn't see anything much I liked. Spent a ridiculous amount of money on a pair of glove/mittens from Accessorize.... (it's very rare I do something like that, so I deserve it!!!). I don't know what the proper name is, but it's the fingerless ones that have a mitten top you can fold over or back!
Haribo, as MrsMix says, no juicy gossip unfortunately...! (well not any that we could divulge, lol!!!)
MrsMix, yep 2 letters here as well!!! Hope you had a good 40 winks.
EssexGirl, glad to hear the Head had a conversation & glad the police liaison are aware, at least you have a record of what's gone on if anything else does happen.
Celyn, well done on submitting your thesis!!!! I expect it feels like a bit of anticlimax really - but hope you manage to wind down on your surprise holiday (how lovely!). I agree about wanting some clues so I knew what to pack though.
We just cheated & had chinese for supper this evening - unfortunately they put a tub of curry sauce in, rather than sweet & sour!!! Oh well.
Now I'm in my snuggly clothes, curled up on the sofa & relaxing. Helping out at Uni open day tomorrow, so will be off & out by 8.30 (£8 a hour & chocolate)

Evening everyone
I know I have been a bit hit and miss with posting over the last few weeks, its just me trying to get into a new routine with the new job.
Think I am almost there now, have decided to get up as though I was starting work at 9 and then each day have done myself a list of things to do. Have managed to read the thread most days but not posted as I am a bit of a control freak and keep looking at the clock and thinking I should be doing something else.
Have had DSD round tonight so I could put some CDs onto her mp3 player as her mum and b/f are taking her away for the weekend and as a teenager she can't live without her music :rotfl:
We are going to a wedding tomorrow, have got me hat!
Big ((hugs)) to all those who need them
Congrats and happy birthday to all those I have missed and :hello:to the new people I have missed.
Kaat - rant away, I know of someone who should NOT be on IB, it makes me so angry when people abuse the system and its so hard for those who really need it, hope your DH is feeling better now.
Cyas soon

KAAT_LADY I know how you feel,my son attended his appeal for DLA and they had to fetch a pillow and chair from another part of the building so he could even sit down  The whole system in this country stinks...
he had a major op on his spine on in August was discharged from hospital and we haven't seen a soul since...nobody...apparently he's not 'priority',we even had to pay for wound dressings as our GP said it wasn't on his prescription list!!
He hasn't had a bath/shower since he left hospital (only a bed bath) and we've had to shave all his hair off as its got so matted
I'll stop now as I could go on all night :rotfl:
Hope you and OH are feeling a bit more rested now
