ah well, idiots arguing semantics like that spoil it for the rest of us
PLEASE, just leave that one and try for another, you win some, you loose some, i've not won any yet and i've travelled over 100 miles trying!, i'm not bitter tho
Where differing prices occur the retailer is legally obliged to sell at the lower price or withdraw the item from sale prior to contract being formed, the original poster is quite correct the point of sale material was misleading and r&r should most certainly apply.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

EXACTLY
They are legally obliged to sell at the lower price ... NOT refund and give the product away free.
This is Tescos Policy - but not the direct law. But if they advertise it - legally they have to do it surely :-D0 -

Thats correct HighguyUK. Its not British Law, but its the companies policy, so they must stand by it untill they either review it or change it.0

Having sold at a higher price and criminally misled the consumer the consumer has redress under our legislation, the refund and replace policy is a bribe to ensure the minimum amount of customers actually persue such an action and thus mimimise prosectutions and allow them to continue the practice, the policy lures consumers to the store in the false sense of securtiy that they will not be out of pocket or inconvenienced by slack practice, the policy is nationally advertised both on web sites and tv campaigns, throughout their retailing base at all customer service desks and kiosks and in published matter also therefore this makes the policy part of the offer to treat and is enforcable under current legislation despite anything you may hear to the contrary.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
