Tesco misprice policy discussion area II

If an offer expires on the 20th Jan will the till prices automatically be updated and therefore leave us a chance of a R&R on the 21st or the 20th?
If i went in on the 21st and the SEL (big yellow one) is still on the product but a higher price is scanned am i on to a winner even though the SEL has an expiry date?

Whats the score if CS is closed? for example I work irregular hours and sometimes shop in the early morning. Would i still be able to claim R&R?

Just came back from my local Tescos St Rollox, Glasgow hoping to get an r & r on a cd but unfortunately there was no posters on display and all SELS looked to be ok so I went to have a look at the digital cameras as I seen someone talkin about one the other day. Put camera in my basket and proceed to the scanner but...................... just my luck it was out of order!!!!!

have read this thread with interest over the past couple of weeks but still always forget to check the SEL against price paid and the very day that I am on the look out the scanner is out of order, will try again next week.

Anyway, under the Data Protection Act you are entitled to see any information that Tesco hold about you. I'm not sure if it's been done in relation to clubcards by anybody here but is worthy of further investigation if you're worried.

Our local customer services is closed after 10pm. I was overcharged before christmas when I went shopping late one night. The CSA photocopied the SEL to prove the overcharge, and wrote a nice note to say I had been overcharged and that she had been unable to refund me. I went back the following day and got my refund with no trouble.


My Dad was overcharged by 32 pounds before Christmas, as was refunded the difference. (10 pounds). He mentioned this to me on Christmas Day, and I told him about the Tesco R&R Policy. He phoned up after Christmas, asked about the policy, and was told to claim the rest of his refund from customer services. Fancy trying to cheat a poor pensioner out of his refund!!

Would someone be so kind as to explain the 14inch digilogic tv mis price thing. How much should it be acording to the sel and what does it scan at.

I dont think we should show them in store anything printed here with moeysavingexpert or we risk blowing our trump cards because then they will be here watching us.

They already know about this site. They just don't do anything about it. In fact there are a couple of Mr T's employees post regularly on here.

Hi All
Im a regular @ mse and often see the tesco posts . Ive done a bit of reading and can understand the refund thingy . The thing i cant get my head round is how do people check the price before getting to the cashier . I mean do you go in hope that something will be charged higher or what . Ok lets say theres a poster out of date , thats obvious but surely they can say that the poster says the dates that apply . Theres a easyier way isnt there , damm im sure i spelt easyier wrong , opphs should it be easier way . Side tracking here , getting back to the agenda , Whats the secret of suzzing prices before checkout......

Hello, they have scanners around the store for customers to check unmarked products, I usually check on these before going to the till.
