has anyone ever found any misprices in the hatfield tesco which is the nearest one to me. Every time I go there, everything seems to be the right price0

I went to obtain my refund from the customer service. But what happened next I would never of expected. The Woman went off to check the price on the product and was gone for at least 10 minutes, when she returned the only ticket she had was for the correct price and the incorrect ticket had gone missing. I think that they deliberatly changed the ticket can anyone oferr any advice as to any action I can take. I asked for a full refund on the joints of meat which they did. Also I rang the manager and he is investigating the incident and he will let me know the outcome.
Just to update you all. I have just had a phone call from the duty manager, they have just investigated the incident and the women on the customer service desk are sticking to there story about the ticket never having been there. The manager also stated that he cant prove they are lying, but as a gesture of good will they offered me a instore voucher to the value of the meat £55.00. I declined the gesture as I was not after financial gain. And went on to explain that it was the principle, and that if I had acted in a dishonest way instore the police would be involved. The next time it happens I will photograph the SEL and we will see how they explain that if it goes missing..0 -
I'd like to ask those who have purchased mis-priced CDs, if the poster states a cheaper price than the one on the S.E.L., can I get a refund if I was charged the higher price? I noticed several at my local Tesco today but couldn't scan the price due to the oversized security boxes and there were 2 prices.0

yes you should get a refund if you were charged the higher price, if two different prices are shown you should get charged the cheaper price.0 -
Thanks, will go and buy them now hehe...Always thought my store were too accurate with their prices
This is the arguement I should use then if they mention the SEL?0 -

"Dear Jeff, We have over-charged you 300 times in the last year and it as come to our attention that you insist on a refund each time. Please refrain from doing this or we will be forced to.. err... err..... well please just STOP it. Love Mr T"
Any admission of consistently over-charging will open up a can of worms so big that even a polite CS member with a nice smile and offers of R&R couldn't close.0 -
Today in Tesco Hemel Hempstead, I did a straight refund, not r and r, and the cs lady asked for my clubcard to deduct the points and then told me my name and address from the screen before processing the refund - Big Brother is watching you!!!
Also when you sign up to shop online at Tesco.com, it lists all the products you bought at your last shop with them.0 -

I can't really argue with that and its a very good point. I do tend to get a bit paranoid with some things like this.0 -
I think it is much more likely that an individual cs will decide that you are taking too many r&rs and cause trouble for you. After all, when you are refunded they don't have your clubcard, nor do they do much with your receipt, with the number on it. If a cs were suspicious of you, they could type in your number from that, but I am pretty sure it would not have a record of refunds on it.0

That's as maybe, but I never recall having seen any CS rep scan the barcode on my receipt when I go for an R&R.
Also, its in the Clubcard terms and conditions that they can't take away your points once they are awared (i think). Perhaps they can if you go for a refund, but certainly not for an R&R.0
