Just looking at your debt reduction stats nice going nearly there!

Thanks Ben - work hard and gain the rewards (no not at Tesco) - lots of overtime and selling junk on ebay :)

BTW - I got my refund for the phone as a Moneycard via special delivery from Tesco HQ - went to tesco for some shopping so my budget for this month is now frozen as I am now saving cash from my current account.

    Thanks all :)

  • Hi all I just sent an email to the Times as I noticed today that they had an article about Tesco again.

I still have not recieved any contact from them or a refund?? I have sent Tesco an email already and phoned still no reply is this the treatment you get because you live in Brixton Sth London? or shoood I saay that witha Cockney accent?

Not sure what to do next!
  • I do not look for misprices anymore, as their treatment of myself and my personality means I just cannot handle the hassle and their attitudes. Anyway, today during my big Christmas shop I bought my son the fantastic 4 dvd - SEL £11.77 - poster price £9.97 or thereabouts. Price on poster was lower than SEL. Went to CS where I showed them the price error, fellow customer walks past and says well that's last weeks poster - to which I glare at them ! Back to CS, they admit it should be £9ish and not the £11ish paid. The chap on CS offers me the difference - NO WAY - I point rather politely to the sign behind him and he calls another member of staff she mutters I have had refunds before but did process my full refund. She immediately got a member of hardware to change the poster.

So, in theory if you are quick off the mark on a Monday morning and the poster has not been changed you could bag some misprices. I was shaking like a leaf getting my refund today but I did it and why should I pay the higher price when I had just spent £180 on groceries and Christmas goodies.

I think that nearly always they try to fob you off with refunding the difference but if you know their policy as we do then you can get the R and R. I always feel uncomfortable doing it but its only making best use of the policy.
I as refunded over £18 today and most of the item were only a few pence overpriced but they WERE overpriced. I find even if you point it out at some stores you could go back week after week and still be over charged

I sent a letter (recorded delivery) to Mr Terry Leaghy about an incident in which the duty manager refused to give me a R&R. This was on the 28 November. I've had no reply. Anyone else had to wait this long for a reply?
  • Has anybody else spotted the budweiser minis?

I tried burnley, but there were none there, no SEL, and just a sticker saying 'SORRY! Temporarily out of stock!' so not sure if somebody beat me to them and cleared em out.

Will try leyland tonight, if not, may try southport if I have time.
