Hi All,
We had a lovely day, I really enjoyed going on a lovely walk, and collected some leeks and daffs. I have cleaned up an ebay 99p purchase of a push along car for earthlet, and a spare buggy, but I haven;t done any cleaning insideI have listed my ebay stuff, though, so after a quick drink at a friends I should be able to do some cleaning - dinner is bubbling away in the slow cooker.
Such a busy week next week, including having my hair cut at the college and doing a pizza mystery shop - yum yum! I also want to do a bit or gardening too.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I didn't actually realise how good a buy it was until I saw your comment SStoS and they retail at about £100! This one doesn't have an electric dashboard on it, but it has everything else! Sure I can buy him a horn or something!
Anyway had a broken nights sleep, so a little tired today. Washing is on the line, have to plan a double lesson for 1pm, and feed us all.
Then I might do my gardening - sorting strawberries and maybe starting some lettuce. I would like to do a meal plan for the week too and still need to clean the house!!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Unfortunately my Grandmother has suddenly passed away. Her funeral will be next Monday. It is good know that she is a lot happier in heaven, but a bit of a shock none the less. I'll have to organise travel arrangements today, and get my other things done too! Had a great sleep so where is my energy?15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Thank you all! It warms your heart after a tearful day to have nice messages on here - Thank you. My grandmother was old, but not ill, and this was unexpected, so a postmortem was done today. I can't get through to my dad at the moment, but I presume the funeral will be going ahead as planned.
I have lots of lovely memories of having my grandparents around when I was young, and I know she is happy now with my grandad.
I have booked train tickets to and from the funeral, and rearranged or cancelled any clients that I needed to.
I had a bit of a mini lightbulb moment tonight driving back from a clients house. All of the cars were beeping at each other and racing to get home, a big black range rover was driving particularly menacingly behind me because I was careful at a roundabout. Going over a bridge I looked down and saw a barge tootling along on the canal, just before the sun had gone down, with a man on the tiller, just easing it down the canal. I had a flash of feeling as free as that - fresh air in my lungs, all wrapped up and cosy, no cares or worries, no rush or stress. It hit me like a jolt. No I don't want to give it all up and live on a barge! but I am going to carry on working and saving and making money this way so that I can be free of my mortgage and spend more time doing what I want to do and just feeling free and carefree.. what a lovley feeling that would be!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
