NOT AT ALL! I can't wait to go PT at some point in the future...
Today I am going to make some washable hankies out of an old but clean checked shirt, these are for OH and I to use instead of tissues (and kitchen roll in case of OH) I have another sewing job to do as well.
I will try to clean and ebay as I go too.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Sewing jobs all done, now oh and I have washable hankies. Baby has washable fleece nappy liners and washable cloth wipes.
Needless to say i got so engrossed with my sewing that not a lot else got done!
Took earthlet to the free soft play again, and invited neighbour, and we went in her car, so no petrol spend either! He absolutley loved it but just wanted to stay in the disco room and dance!(he is only 8months!)
Did one private client last night, and got two today, one a double. I also want to finish the cleaning and decluttering, ready for ebaying tomorrow. If its not used in the last 12 months, or its not pretty, its going to be sold!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Oooh, and reupholsterer has delivered our new recovored sofa. It looks so lovely now. It was more expensive than origanally quoted, not in labour, but material, as our first few choices were out of stock. I think we made the right choice though!
In theend, for 2 wingback chairs, a large footstool with storage for baby toysand a very large sofa with 6 feather cushions cost me £1,150 including the cost of the chairs at the charity shop, so I'm quite happy with that. I already had the last of the money saved,so it didn't affect our finances. OH is paying for the rest of the downstairs and upstairs to be painted, he got a good price, and doesn't want to do it himself!
Right on with the day, 3 tutorings, ebaying and finishing any house jobs, followed by walking and playing with baby.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Had a great day yesterday, got plenty on ebay, and another few items on amazon. One of my clients cancelled which was a bit annoying, but she did do an extra one last sunday, so it evens out money wise.
Earthlet oh and I went out for tea to a neigbours, it was great, earthlet loved it too and slept really well when i brought him home.
Ooh, and we won £10 on the lottery too.
We are going well with his weaning, inspired by courgette (how many times have i written that?) who is a lot further on than us, he has been having a lot more finger foods and managed real porrige yesterday too.
And the reusable baby wipes i made are great (just for no1s) and should save us some money in wipes. I've been putting a few drop of baby lotion in the top and tail water and it smells nice too.
Today I want to check the tent i got off freecycle has all the bits by putting it up, finish cleaning and ebaying, and we have some friends coming over later too. Finally I want to cook a Sunday dinner that earthlet can have too, and store some for him in the freezer, and set my bread maker overnight for bread tommorrow am.
Right off I go!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Hun - weaning is so difficult first time round as you are so worried if they will manage it or gag. My DS2 i used to give real meals to by the time he was Earthlets age as he was never overly bothered by mush.
I used to give him stuff like hoummous on toast, veg that was still quite firm, jacket potatoes with soft cheese, fruit loaf toasted, fishfingers and wedges. If i looked at it and it didn't take a whole mouth of teeth to chew, then he could have it. He is also still less fussy than my DS1. He loves mushrooms and prawns, and my DS1 will refuse those.
Have fun experimenting with him, and don't spend all of Mothers day working. Have some QT with the family.0
