Shame about the childminder, but if she was looking after too many then its for the best earthlet isn't there.
Does that mean you will be spying on him from the languages corridor? lol

Yep - Think its going to be hard not to nip in at lunch time!! He is starting the nursery in May - its £638/month, so much more expensive than where he was going to go, but I think he will be well cared for.
Anyway, Earthlet is booked into an amazing childminders for Sept. They are two ladies working together, and its absolutely fantastic!! I feel really bad, as they matched the price I had been quoted of £3/hour - I was visiting a lady on Tuesday with that rate- but their service is just amazing. They are moving into the area in the summer, the purpose built building is already ready to go, and they have only a few clients so I suppose thats why they came down on the price. They are doing term time only for me as well, and as its so close to work I will only have a short travelling time, so my daily rate will be £22.50. I feel like I should be paying more, but we will see - suppose they will put up their rates when they get established in the area.
They had so much going on, and plenty of activities outside, and loads of learning and discovery activities, and messy play too. They have a theme and do dance and spanish and other such things. They provide each parent with the learning themes for the month, and a menu, and a daily diary. I am so excited about earthlet going there!!
Opportunity to get earthlet into great day care: tick!
So now on with my other news. My dad is stilll in the process of transfering some inheritance from my gran. I will definately have this mortgage paid off (if you count money in savings) soon.
I have some money from ebay and amazon to transfer, and pay from ms. I hope to be able to do some updated totals this weekend.

MF and a mini me....I'm so jealous. I remember starting out on the journey at a similar time with a similar mortgage and you've raced ahead AND had a baby. Well done you. I'll catch you up one day I'm sure....hopefully. Are you in your "family home" as well? We still need to move to a "family home". I am very jealous...but also very in awe...you do have the energy of 10 people and work so hard. Well done you.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Great news about the childminders, sounds amazing. I had the most amazing one for DD, really meant I could focus on working, and later studying, knowing she was well cared for.
I love the way you've taken the challenges life has thrown at you and tried to see the opportunity in them, very inspiring!Mortgage [STRIKE]16/03/2011: £190K 01/01/2017: £107,729.65 [/STRIKE] 01/07/2017: £95,979.89

Of course you will! But you have belle to look after and fund now, and babies soon too, babies are much cheaper.
This COULD BE our forever house if we extend.... but then we'd have a small garden, so I think we'll probably need to move again. I also need to consider catchment areas now as well (ok babies are not so cheap then!)
I have got my inheritence through from my lovely grandma, £4,000, and have spent £1,000 on childcare for May and September (as a deposit.) Signiture updated - it looks tiny now!:T
I've listed loads of items on ebay, and I am really busy with tutoring this week too - exam season.
OH and I enjoyed a big meal out on Sunday, and spent £1.52 - the rest was refunded as a ms - it was yummy too!
I have planted more seeds and got some tomato plants in my temp. green house, fingers crossed for a lovely long hot MF summer!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Painted the garden shed and did a little more planting in the garden, so now have toatoes, potatos, courgettes, lettuce, rocket and strawbs. Hopefully I'll get more in when the early potatos come out. I miss my allotment!
I am currently up at mums, and earthlet didn't have a great night, so I ws reading diaries on here very late!
Anyway, I decided to take mum out for lunch today, and it was lovely, really nice food and it was ran by a charity trust, so the money went to a good cause as well. And it wsa very cheap (thats not why we went, I told mum she could go anywhere.)
I have caught up with friends and family, although it feels strange that gran isn't here to visit.
Going to have family day tomorrow, and practise knitting with my mum ha ha!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I had a lovely weekend at my mums, and really enjoyed seeing the family. Earthlet loved it too, now he can play with his cousin, and he loved the paddling pool (which we brought home!)
I have moved over some money from ebay and ms payment, and put another £100 into savings. I now owe £2,730!! But the figure is messy and annoying as it includes the endowment money and projected shortfall, but not the monthly payments, so I can't really be mortgage free until I have paid the monthly payments, can I?
To cover the monthly payments 'till endowment maturity, I would need £10,815. I think I will save this up in a saving account and then declare mortgage freedom - I should be able to do it this year, and hopefully before turning 31!

I am waiting for some cash I paid in yesterday at the post office to appear on my account, then I can transfer to savings
I am waiting for OH to fill in the transfer form for his ISA earning no interest, so I can find out how much is in it and update my sig.
I have a few tutoring clients still to do, and plan to carry on doing some when I go back to work.
As of last week, I am getting paid again!
I have some more to transfer from ebay sales at the weekend.
I hope I can update all of that by the weekend and post a new total.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
