Hi EG
Good to hear earthlet is enjoying nursery and you've got into the swing of work. Its great to hear from you!!
Another easy day here, I am getting a bit bored with the amount of frees I have, but it is compensated by the horrendous classes I do have I suppose!!
Got my planning done, and some small business work too.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Mammoth day yesterday, 3 1/2 hours of tuition completed, house, beds cleaned, washing done and house hoovered. Earthlet played at a neighbours for a couple of hours, and we were then all invited over for tea - it was scrummy and best of all no dishes for me!!
I didn't like being without earthlet for the few hours, I felt like I was missing out on him. If someone offers to take him again so I can get stuff done, I think I'll decline - I can do stuff with him there just as easy.
Today I've got a little ironing to do, and some small business work as well. Most of the nappy wrappers I was bidding on on ebay I won, so I have another five to add to my collection of 8, which should be more than enough for the next few months at nursery, if I keep rinsing them a couple of times a week. Having to provide a wrapper for each nappy is a bit of a pain as they cost £10 new - the mixture of 2nd hand and new ebay ones were 3.48 each with delivery.
I have had to buy a new high chair, as the deat ripped on the freecycle one I had, and I was worried about germs getting in and now earthlet is a bit more lively he regularly rubs his food all over the place! I used vouchers that we'd had since he was born, and I paid another £9.50 on top.
So quite a few baby spends there..£26.88 in total.
I will do some banking and SHOULD have some exciting news to report...15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Banking completed, ISA that oh 'found' languishing is transfered over, and I can now report that in my messy endowment fuddled situation, we are effectively MORTGAGE FREE TODAY!!!:j:j:j:j:j
We started overpaying our £154,000 mortgage off in earnest in 2008, and so smashed our target of 5 years!
The ISA was £8,826.31, and so it gave me the final £1,000 I needed to pay off the mortgage, plus it has boosted my little challenge of banking the endowment payments for the remainder of the payment term (10 years) so I just have £3,000 to pay off that and then thats gone too... It MAY be this month, more likely in June. Because it makes more financial sense to keep the money in ISAs than to pay off the mortgage with a rate of 2.5%, I will keep it where it is for the time being.
Still, depite the messy situation, I feel I can celebrate being mortgage free today!:j:j:j15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
