has anyone else heard back yet? That's quite a let-down, I really wanted to do that.
hi there, i initally was gutted when i was turned down, (i actually have a thread soemwhere on the forum called gutted!!) AQA wrote back to with reasons why i failed, and now that im over the disappointment, im glad i didnt get in, cause i think it wud be really hard to get answers they were happy with all the time, theres actaully a post on here somewhere from someone who got the boot from AQA after a few weeks for wrong puncatation, actaully one of my fails was using a comma instead of a semi-colon!!!!0 -

It says in the job description that I need a degree.

Hi
I used to work for them part time, and I've got to say they are not great. There are different supervisors though so I may just have been unlucky but the one I got was constantly sending 'review' emails that were not that nice. Really got the feeling that they thought they were doing you a huge favour and that you had to grovel at every opportunity to keep your position.
I decided it was not worth the constant grovel needed! There is only so many times you can apologise for writing a date wrong once. During reviews they stop you working until you speak to your supervisor (which is when you need to grovel lots) before re-activating your account.
On the positive side you can work any time and there was generally a fair amount of questions available so could be a good opportunity for someone. I just didn't like the feeling of being looked down on and made to grovel for everything.
Good luck to those who pursue it!0 -
What's the earning potential for this?0

What's the earning potential for this?
Firstly, you don't need a degree. It helps, of course, as it demonstrates a certain level of education, but that's all. I know people with degrees that can't spell or punctuate to save their lives, and that's far more important.
They say that you can earn £7-8 per hour or more, and I guess you could if you really applied yourself. I have a full-time job already, so I only do this for fun, because I'm a bit odd. I probably earn no more than £2-3 per hour, because I only play at it, really. However, it's really handy for me to have on the back-burner, because I know if I've got an expensive month coming up I can get stuck in and earn a couple of hundred quid. If I had to do it full time, to pay the mortgage, I'd find it a real struggle. Basically, you can make of it what you want, which suits me just fine.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I was curious as to why they ask you how many hours you can work. They don't expect you to stick to that then? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
