    Hi All,
Have sent off my test and application so fingers crossed, although after what has been said above im not holding out much hope!
I too spent ages answering the questions...
I also sent off the free question and to be honest the answer I got back was rubbish so I would be upset to think that Im not in with a slim chance!

    What did you ask?
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

it was all very quick (though i based in ireland, well northern ireland) not sure if that makes a dif. cause it at time they were looking for people in ireland but not UK, this is only a month ago, but it was all very quick, from sending off for application right though to the big "NO", though like i say, dont let anything i say put you off, i just thought their reasons for failing some of my answers were crazy and left me stumped as to what they actually wanted, but for some people who get through, it might be a great way to make extra £££, good luck, keep us posted,

Just sent off my application form too. Thought some of the questions were quite hard but given it my best shot, can't do better than that. Really hope I get in. Has anyone heard back from them yet? I see they are still advertising.

I asked if john lennon were alive today what would he be up to?

I didn't want to ask a straightforward question as I can answer them myself using the net!

The answer: John lennon would likely have started charities & done a lot of fundraising for 3rd world countries if he hadn't been shot. Music would take a back seat.

Its not terrible just wanted something more imaginative I guess

Sorry to hear that Bronwen. Did it take them long to get back to you?

 Good question.....just the sort I hate! :p You're right, it's not a great answer, especially as I can't see someone like Lennon letting music take a back seat. It's more likely that he would use it as a fundraising tool.

Personally, I don't like that sort of question: I'm not good at making things up like that. However, you ask me what sort of bicycle Luis Ocana rode to victory in the 1973 Tour de France, and I'll happily spend ½ an hour digging up the answer. For 30p. Incidentally, that was a genuine question - could you find the answer? :D
