Congratulations heidiboo and family and welcome Sydnee.
My DS (who is 16 months now- well nearly) was 15 days overdue, would NOT be induced out, and came by elective c-section weighing 8lbs exactly!
    Happy birthday candygirl :D
Ok, still feeling rough today so off to feel [STRIKE]sorry for self[/STRIKE], prepare lunch & dinner (have actually been good and done my housework but just a tad more slowly!).

  • Whew! Have just got back from our stroll round the village and just have to say, what a Fabulous Day!!!! I love this time of year and today's a perfect example of why.
Congratulations HeidiBoo, she's sooo pretty and really tiny (I thought my LO was tiny at 7lb30z but he looked gigantic compared to Sydnee). Have lots of fun x

    Hi everyone,

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Heidi-boo!! what a beautiful baby!

Sybil - Good luck with your super sized knitting needles, i bought ool and needles ages ago and was determined to learn how to knit but i`m afraid that they are still where i put them when i brought them home :o i just haven`t had the time at all. A friend suggested crotchet (sp?) but the results look sooo good that i imagine it to be really complicated.

I`ve finally finished the upstairs and done lots of little extra jobs too and i`ve also walked the houndies who are now both sleeping peacefully.
The kitchen and downstairs can now wait as i`m off to the shops. I`ve been told that the new Sainsbugs sells clothes too so i shall have a gander in there. The last time that i went in it only had food and although it really isn`t very new anymore it is to me. :D

    Catch up later.

    congratulations on the baby...

and wannabe sybil, is it like the cat has sleep in his eye, as if you wipe it wih milk it might just 'cure' the problem....

i'm having a really bad day as i had to throw away my entire freezer, and i had stocked up on loads of lovely meat :( but at least i'd left the door open and the freezer isn't actually broken.... so at least tjhat won';t be another cost on top....

found it yesterday evening, after i tried to 'rescue' a cat, i was actually crying and everything, and a man who saw me was absolutely useless, it took his lovely wife to find a box for it, after i had called my mother to pick us up, and take the poor mite to the vet... (really unamusing as when mum turned up with a box to carry it in, so did a neigbour who said in fact the cat was hit by the car a year ago, and the owners normally didn't let him out, but he looked all bent out of shape and i couldn't bear the thought of him being in pain....)

  • Afternoon all...
I'm a newbie to the daily thread - never ventured in before! So hello everyone...hope you're all having productive days!
Heidiboo - Sydnee is absolutely beautiful, congratulations and well done you!

This is my 6th day of being poorly and I'm going completely stir crazy...headed off to work this morning thinking I was better, only to spend an hour standing on a crowded bus and discovering that in fact I wasn't better at all! Lasted half an hour at work before they called me a cab and sent me home, so here I am, back on the sofa which has been my home for the last 5 days. Can't bear to sit here and do nothing yet again...I need to do something constructive! Managed to bake a cake the other day by gathering all the ingredients on the coffee table and doing it all from the sofa but I don't really think the waistline would appreciate another one!
My better half is also working night shifts this week so I'm all on my lonesome all day and night. Will you lovely old stylers keep me company?!

redruby - hope your mum gets well soon and doesn't feel too awful whilst she recovers.

pixie - sorry to see you go, good luck with all your comps!

floss - I live in Somerset, so prob a bit far for you to travel! Our store had a refit a few months ago, and since then we've had more reductions than ever! Try asking someone on the department where they put the reductions, the area quite often moves around in our store, still doesn't fool the chinese ladies - I love their determination to get a bargain!

Well caught up on yesterday's thread, now need to catch up here again! Washing isn't dry yet, so next lot is on hangers dangling from curtain pole in sitting room, and I've parked the rest on the airer in a sunny spot in there, my house really does look like widow twanky's, the dining room is an assortment of clothes drying, clothes folded and a heap of socks that need sorting, plus dd2 and dd1's latest project - papier mache!

Bread rolls look good though, just used the hovis granary mix that was cheap a while ago.

Oh for anyone who wants the £2 biccies from Mr T's, ours all sold out within a couple of hours of the shop opening yesterday, we got more delivered last night, but they sell fast! So if you want them grab em quick, and prob best to try the mornings when the displays have been restocked!
