DDs have played in the garden for over an hour and a half and I was going to post to say how amazed and happy I am at how well they'd been playing. But I bought a big High School Musical cake reduced to 75p and thought I'd serve that as dessert instead of the pancakes that I'd originally said I would make. You would not believe the hysteric that DD1 (age 7) is having about this. It's gone from that she doesn't like the HSM cake to that nobody loves. I don't know what to do with her. I've sent her to her room now while she calms down cos it's just ridiculous.

    Lamewolf, welcome to the club!!!!
and Congratulations Heidiboo on your gorgeous baby!!
Redruby, glad to hear your mum is feeling better today too, and good for you re the course - it's only when people make a stand (and vote with their feet) that places take notice.
Jet77, my 12 year old DD is like that sometimes... I just ignore it as well.

Anyhow, letters to type for the office tonight, so must get on with them for a bit (after getting a cuppa).

REDRUBY, Good for you, I expect everyone wished they had the courage to do what you did. I remember yonks ago when I signed up for a beginers course at the local College for how to use a putter, all of the Students used to come into to the classroom and highjack the Tutor even though they were comp savy.

To my embarresment, when Tutor said to move the mouse over the screen to click on what was wanted, I actually put the mouse on the screen and tried to scan across it.

    I left the next week but felt so stupid I didn't say anything, now I %kno wat I:m doin£, ets eez1/ Isn)t !t~ .

Good for you, RedRuby, and I'm glad your Mum is getting better.

Well, I've just had a bath and will be sitting down watching Ice Road Truckers for the next couple of hours - hope I don't fall asleep!

    Have a great evening, everyone!

    Hi,

Peace has now been restored in the jet household :)

Congratulations Heidiboo .... Sydnee is absolutely divine!! How are you both doing? Is she feeding ok? Did she lose weight in the first few days? Are you managing to get some sleep when she does?

Happy Birthday to the 2 OSers with birthdays today:bdaycake:

I haven't done much OS wise today. I've cooked off some sausages that were going out of date. I'll have some tomorrow and may be freeze the others for next week. I have joined the GC :T I overslept and didn't wake up until 8 - when I was supposed to have been at work  I've been feeling drained all day so have showered and am going to be in bed with a hot water bottle in half an hour.

Tomorrow/Sat I need to do clean kitchen, hoover and sort washing out.

Hope everyone's had a great day xxx

    Evening all

OMG - a lovely baby princess - hmm broody now - will have a word with dds about a dgd - very very well done heidiboo

Beth - i did almost the same thing but I thought the instructor said flick not click so I pointed the mouse at the screen and sort of flicked it towards what i wanted to open - shame

got my costume for a fancy dress party on saturday - a witchy one. I have to get three buses so am hoping that if i tuck the dress into my knickers and wear my longish velvet coat and leggings I might just pass for a goth for the journey.

Annie - I can come out now and admit that I thought you were preggers too :) - see I told you I'd be honest.

Well must get on as I'm jsut in from work having been sidetracked by a vsit to dgs
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
