I have just reported the problem to the FSA in the hope that they help us. Please do the same to bring more focus on this issue. The link is below;

You shouldn't need any money to exchange contracts!:) Unless perhaps you're completing on the same day.
What happened to the 5% or 10% deposit upon exchange of contracts. He may need it for that but that is enought off topic.Yeah, cheers but nah, I will stick with yes, thank you and no.
Thank you.0 -
BACS transfer of 10K requested on Monday, but this has now been recredited back to the Icesave account today.0

Just been on to Icesave with reference the return of funds to a closed account.
The money is there, but the accounts are showing a code for a closed account, that is why we can't access the accounts.
The IT guys are working to remove the codes on the accounts so they can be reinstated as quickly as possible, but due to the vast amount of people that withdrew funds and closed accounts this will take some time.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
i set up a chaps transfer late monday night. this morning the money has thankfully returned to my account. note to everyone aswell make sure you print off a new statement showing the money back in your account0

I have also emailed Sky News given the fact that Gordon Brown has given all these assurances to savers but look what happens in reality. Do the same; address is news@sky.com
We need to make as many people/organisations aware of this situations as publicity is our best weapon against this crappy bank. If anyone has any other ideas about who to contact let the forum know so wecan ALL contact them. I am sure that ING will not wan the bad press we could bring and maybe this will push them to do something.0 -

Well I've bought and sold a few houses and never paid any such deposit. Perhaps he did agree to do so. But as you say, off topic. Sorry.0 -
I requested a BACS transfer of £35,000 from KE on Sunday. It left my account on Monday, but today (Thursday) there's still no sign of it at my linked account, and the bank says it's not queued for tomorrow either.
KE's call centre is constantly engaged.0 -
I need the money back in my account by the end of October which is about £10k. Considering it was done on Tuesday should give them enough time.
Also I noted when I rang their call centre the niceties were swept away and the guy said my name is ..... what do you want to know. Last week its was all very friendly and may I call you by your first name.
I think you will find that no monies have gone through, any funds will be returned and you will have to go through the claim scheme to get your money back.
I did my transfers Monday night and they are back in my accounts, one I can see because the account was left open, two I can't as these are closed, but I have just spoken to Icesave & have been told the funds are there and the account will be reset ASAP.
I have to also say the Guy I have just spoken to was great, very polite and very helpful.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
