Barclaycard fraud - happened to you?

Can anyone confirm the return address on the dispute form is correct before I send it off? I would hate for another one to go missing.
The address printed on the PDF form is:-
Barclaycard,
Barclaycard House,
PO Box 5592
Northampton
NN4 1ZY
I've still got my dispute form because they reversed the dodgy transactions on my card before I even received itLucky me I guess.
The pre-paid envelope included with the form has the following address:
Barclaycard
51 Saffron Road
Leicester
LE18 4US0 -
Thanks AHAR - The Leicester address is the one that appears on the covering letter I was sent along with the dispute form (the one that Barclaycard say went missing). I still have the covering letter but not the prepaid envelope. I can't remember the address on the envelope. Now I'm unsure which address to use - Northampton or Leicester? I suppose I could send two forms - one to each address.0

I have just come across this thread and it's some comfort to find that I am not alone with Barclaycard problems! Thank you to everyone else who has posted.
I won't bore you with the details - all very similar to those above - but I too have now involved the ombudsman in an effort to sort out the fraudulent transactions on what was my i24 card from September.
I'll keep you posted.0 -
I too am a victim of Barclaycard fraud. In October someone has withdrawn just over £200 from cash machine in Pakistan. The transactions were identified by BC and they cancelled my card immediately. I was in the UK at the time this took place and have never been to Pakistan in my life!!
I have been speaking to BC several times -to their call centre in India, call centre in UK and even their Fraud department. Now it's December and no refunds from BC just interests from the cash withdrawal keep piling up.
Everyone I spoke to just keep saying the same thing - wait for refund in your next statement. Their customer service staffs have no interest in solving customer's complaint, they will just say anything to get you off the phone.
I am so fed up with this useless company and can't wait to get my money back so I can get rid of this card for good!!!0 -
Anyway, I've reported this to Barclaycard who've blocked the card...
Excuse me for quoting myself but I thought you'd be interested to hear one more thing about this sorry tale. When I first noticed the fraud, the first thing I did was call to report it and stop the card. Of course it turned out to have been the old 'cancelled' Morgan Stanley card that was involved.
As they didn't send the form out after the first phone call I've been wondering if they'd actually cancelled the new Barclaycard either (which I believed at the time was somehow being used fraudulently).
No they didn't. I've just booked some train tickets today with it...
I've also found out that a replacement card on my other Barclaycard account works without needing to call the number they ask you to ring to confirm it has arrived safely.
I don't think I'm going to be one of their customers for very much longer.0 -
Yet another week gone by and still no dispute forms received from BCard -despite another phone call last weekend.
Good job I managed to find the PDF forms on the web last week.
My new Egg Money card arrived today so I won't be using Barclaycard anymore.
The only items left on my Barclaycard statement are the fraudulent transactions. They can send me as many requests for payment as they like. I've finished with them.0 -
FINALLY!!! ALL SORTED!!
1st call to report = 20th September
Refund Date = 11th December
82 days!!!!!!!!!!
On monday I had a day off so made another call to a different number (9am-5pm), and I was told they were going to make a refund that evening.
On Tuesday, I noticed they had only refunded £6, so I called again. I was promised a refund that night - nothing! So a call on wednesday asked the same time, and 3rd time lucky, this morning I am free!!
I called to cancel my car and she asked why?! lol!!!
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would advise you guys to call:

Congratulations Mike.
As for me, I still haven't received the promised dispute form after 3 weeks.
However, I did receive a BCard 'free credit card report' letter. Great - thats what I really f*kin need!
So I just made yet another (now 11th!) phone call to BCard.
I lost my cool. After I explained the situation for the 11th time and got no explanation, I said I'd 'had enough' and wanted to 'close my account'.
All the stupid f*kin woman in the call center would tell me is that 'someone would call me later'.
I'll keep you posted.
In the mean time take my advice - NEVER APPLY FOR A BARCLAYCARD!0 -
Ok - it's around 17:00 - just got back home from the docs (problems with an infected ear!)
I told the woman at the BCard call centre that I would not be back until after 18:00. Despite that, I find a message on my answer phone from BCard - please ring Jan Murphy at my convenience. 01604 256536.
Ok so I ring, and ring, and ring.
I let it ring for about 10 min - until I get some BT timeout.
No answer.0 -
17:30.
Just tried phoning the elusive Jan Murphy YET AGAIN!!!
Still no f*king reply!
Bet she has f*cked off home and is enjoying her tea while customers like me are left fuming!
Barclaycard really are a bunch of a*holes!!!  :mad:0
