I have also made a withdrawal transaction last Monday evening and it was actioned yesterday 07/10/08 and would be very hopeful that it will reach my current account by tomorrow or friday.0

I couldn't login to my Kaupthing Edge account yesterday nor today. I phone them and it's constantly engaged. Their website says nothing about the ING buyout. Who's got my cash ?0

I haven't had any trouble logging into the Kaupthing website yesterday or today even though I transferred my balance back to my current acount......just hope it gets there !0

I also didnt have trouble logging in yesterday or today - did a BACS transfer yesterday and my balance was reduced yesterdayKeep the Faith:cool:0

I suggest to anyone like me who transferred some money out of KE by BACS over the weekend logs in to the transactions page, expands the transaction using the little + and prints off the page or takes a screengrab. The reference should be the account number you transferred the money to. Atleast that should help you prove that the money has gone missing if it doesn't reach it's destination account.0

I'm not a financial wizz kid but I feel that all this panic withdrawing is not doing anyone any favours. I have £33,835.52 in KE and IMO it's 100% safe, so that's where it's staying. In fact, in a few days I'm planning on depositing an extra £15K to bring it just below the £50K limit.
Don't worry, just sit back and wait for the ice to melt... er I mean dust to settle :-)0 -
Everyone has different circumstances though - I agree with you that it's not worth everyone just wildly transferring their money back , but in my case , the money held in my KE account is to pay my Abbey Zero credit card that expires next month , so I can't take any chances about not having access to it...0

Is anyone actually able to log in to their KE accounts at the moment? I don't want to withdraw anything but I would like to print off a page showing the current balance - only trouble is it keeps telling me that my login/password is incorrect - I'm certain it isn't.
