Anyone close their Icesave - money in Limbo

I too tried a BACS transfer out of Icesave on Saturday. As of 1 minute ago, the money was neither in my linked account nor credited back to Icesave.
My account was set to receive interest annually and has been open about 10 months so no interest either. But still, I'd be relieved to simply get the original deposit back.0 -

I left £1 in the account to keep it open and can still log in.0

My money came back, ICESAVE is Icelandic for Liar.0

I took out a large amount by BACS Monday morning about 8am, and left a small amount in to keep the account open. The money was returned to my Icesave account an hour or so ago. Like others, 'Correction Item Posted'. At least I printed off a statement before and after it was returned.
Daylight robbers, that's all I can say.0 -
I closed my account and moved all the cash on Sunday night it it now apparantly showing as still being at Icesave.
Presumably we are not going to get our money from the Uk Government tomorrow and so the question has to be asked, will the government pay the interest due to Icesave customers who closed their accounts but whose transactions never went through for the period between " closure " and the date when the government pays compensation.?
The answer should in my opinion be yes because Icesave have told me that my account is still showing as having the same balance as BEFORE the account was closed and so in effect the account was never closed and the money never withdrawn. And the government has said that Uk savers will get ALL their money back.0 -
Brief statement from HM Treasury is now on the Icesave home page. My CHAPS transaction from Monday night has just arrived back in my Icesave account. My accounts were not closed down, strangely, despite me withdrawing all my money in them. I have been able to access them the whole time since the shut down.0

I got through to Icesave (at last). I told them because I had closed my account I couldn't log on and therefore see if the £30K transfer I made on Sunday had been returned to me account. She confirmed that the money WAS back in my Icesave account and that they will be sending me a new User ID and Password in the post. Meanwhile I asked if it was possible for an e-mail so I would have something in writing confirming my balance as of today, she in informed me because of security they couldn't put those details in an e-mail. All she could do is give me her name and verbally confirm that the money was in and tell me that my call was being recorded.
In a way I have some peace of mind in knowing that my dosh isn't floating around in cyberspace (assuming she wasn't bullshi**ing me!) but until I can access my "reactivated" my account or I have a peice of paper confirming my balance I won't be completely happy.

i close my savings ealry yesterday and chaps -they told me now back in icesave and that tomorrow morning will be able to log and see account online --I hope but money is there0 -
I had two accounts with icesave.
I withdrew everything bar 500 quid from my instant access savings on sunday - this has now been returned.
I also withdrew everything from my ISA (thus closing the account). At the time of writing this has not been returned and my ISA account does not show up when I log in.
I assume it will reappear shortly....lets hope so anyway! (wouldn't suprise me if it doesn't).
I wonder what we can/should do if these closed accounts do not reappear?0
