Anyone close their Icesave - money in Limbo

I did a BACS transfer on Sunday night and its just been reversed and shows back on my ICESAVE account. Really angry they were theifing b*stards my transaction was processed and cleared before the 7th Oct yet they reversed it.

no said it would go into the nominated account.

you cannot log onto icesave now, I think that will be the case from now on.

I know that's supposed to be the case when you close account but if a transfer fails and returns it has been suggested that the account may reactivate.

likewise I also can not log in so how do we know if monies paid back in when u can not log in ?
i closed saving account byt left 30p in the isa one.

Yes indeed I tried to logon a few mins ago and it just hangs after entering the password.

FWIW my account was not closed.

I cannot access my account any more either. It hangs for ages and then gives an error. So glad I got in and printed everything (included refunded transfers) while I could do. I don't know whether we will get another chance or not now.

I have also just tried to log into my account and I am getting the same problem.The man from Icesave said my chaps transfer had gone back in to my account but couldn't say why I couldn't log in.

Just managed to logon after some delays. My money has been returned to the account. I did a BACS transfer on Sunday lunch time.

At least I can stop praying the BACS will come through now...and I've printed a statement of the account for claiming.

Instead of us having to make a claim, they should gradually enable accounts so the system can cope and let people withdraw all their money out but of course that won't happen
