  • Yes, i am in the same boat although i did print out a statement when i withdrew the money on Sunday night. However the statement did not detail the interest which i was due ( about £ 1000 ) , it just said that i was transferring £ 33000 to my LLoyds TSb account which is the amount i had in there NOT including interest. I closed the account at the same time. I spoke to someone at Icesave on Monday who told me that the interest was also on its way to my bank account, she gave me the amount. However not a penny has so far arrived at Lloyds.

Transferred out of Easy Access Savings at 1:30am on Tuesday via CHAPS.

The £30 fee was taken and money shows as having gone out 'processed'.

    Can still log into account.

Today there is another transaction which shows the interest being credited to my bank account.

Haven't received either transaction in my bank account.. and nothing bounced back into IceSave..

Unfortunately I did not print off a statement at the time I closed my account. I do have my account number, client ref and my welcome letter from Icesave a year ago when I opened the account. Will this be enough to assure the FSA that I did transfer out 30k and that it's now in limbo?

Yeah - mine's back in too now. Back in Icesave that is. At least that's something. Compensation should be more straightforward now.
  • no i left it open so i could check it. other wise you can not check it. and the money has gone back in. try logging in with your old password it mite work.
  • I withdrew by chaps at 6.45 am on the 7th so prior to trading, a lady at icesave told me today that as it was before the 9am cut off I would get my money and a chaps refund, it didn't go to my account because they were so busy.

I think they are possibly being economical with the truth.
  • Did she say you'd get your money into your nominated account, or that it would bounce back into Icesave?
