   Bah Humbug! I typed a longish post and it disappeared!
Oh well..... ((((Hugs)))) to all who want/need, hope the "fallers" are recovering.
Cross with GP surgery, went to make appointment last week, they couldn't fit me in on a day I can have the car, and didn't have the diary made up for later. Will try again today, as Mr LW is on earlies & therefore at home today.
Shepherd Spy for lunch (was yummy), have made enough for tomorrow when he'll be late home.
Squirrels continuing to dig up the back lawn - wish they'd do the bit of the garden that needs digging!!:rotfl:
Have a good day all, gotta rush, Mr LW finishes w*rk in 10 mins.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

That really tickled me
So Squiggly fell too?And Hester has a bad shoulder?
I speed read sometimes and don't 'catch' everything that's been said. Sorry
Hugs to you both
And one for mioliere - as she's had to wait 24 hours for me to send her one, she gets one all to herself
Well, FIL managed to wring an extra 45 mins out of me  He's been struggling with the ironing for ages but didn't tell anyone. Silly man. I'd have got mr troo to pick it up on his way home from work (maybe once a week) months ago if I'd have known.
I need to get some washing done then I can get on with some cards.I am a coffee bean0 -
Afternoon :hello: and what a lovely sunny afternoon it is, about time too
I've had a really nice day, my friend Jo and her friend Bel came over, and we had a really good natter over lunch... then had a real treat... sticky toffee cheesecake from Iceland not very OS but for £1 real good value, I dont think we stopped talking all the time they were here.
I have loaded the DW, that is something I dont do often now, due to cooking mainly in the slo cooker, will switch it on later after dinner when it is full.
Off for a read through now.
Back later

Sistercas - I work for Mr T's, oh lucky lucky me! The reductions are getting really silly now, got 2 bags of potatoes for 7p each, 5 bags for parsnips for 4p each, 4 bags of sprouts at 3p each, 2 stir frys for 3p each (the beansprouty ones, so not freezable, but luckily we are having stir fry tomorrow and this is cheaper than chopping my own!), 4 bags of sesame seeded rolls at 3p each and 4 packs of chicago town pitta bread at 3p each. Oh and a pack of 4 avocadoes for 3p and a couple of halves of organic cucumbers for 3p each......
Ooh, where abouts are you? I can't find the reduced fruit & veg bit in our Mr T's as it's in the middle of a "refurbishment" (more like rebuild!).....but my local Express has started reducing stuff now0 -

MoneysavingDiva you have my sympathies re the heavy periods. I had a polyp removed just before last Christmas (doc says it was the size of an orange ) to curb my heavy periods. It has helped, but not as much as I thought it would. Bring on the menopause, thats what I say
Work today. Missed a lovely day outside too. The sheets on the line dried though, so thats a bonus. Not much going on at Chrisca towers today so will love you and leave you.
PS Awwww just saw on Sky News that Bob Friend the newsreader has died. He seemed such a lovely bloke on screen. RIP Bob0 -

I will miss you too Pixie lust, take care, perhaps you could pop in every now and then ? xx
Evening all,
well I had a frantic phone call from my dad today, mum has collapsed, and she was due to collect my twin 6 yr old nephews from school, so he asked if I could go, which was fine, I had 25 mins to get 15 miles, so i was out the door like a shot, still on the phone, dad was waiting for the DR to come out,
so i had to find the school, never been there before, went to the office and told them I was due to collect nephews, and the teacher said yes I have spoken to nephews, and they have not got an Auntie Sue  , then they came running out into my arms, so I think she knew they were mine, picked them up raced over town to collect my dd, was 15 mins late, then home to see mum, she has some kind of a virus, which knocks you out, and chronic vertigo, she was very ill, and wrapped up in bed, the Dr had injected her with something and told her complete rest, it can last up to 10 days, so poor mum.
will ring in a mo to check how she is. Just had dinner HM lamb burgers, wedges, carrots and cabbage, it was delish, not sure what mum had, I hope dad thought to cook her something, will go and check now actually.
Hugs where needed, sorry its a flying visit xx
Just phoned mum, and she is slightly better, he had made her a sandwich and a cuppa, and she was sitting up in bed eating it, the Dr said to her that she will feel worse later when the injection has worn off, but at least she is eating.
Diva, I too suffered from horrible heavy periods for years, had to wear tampons and towels, and change every 20 mins, sorry if tmi, I have polyps removed too, just before xmas, and had a coil fitted, my periods got lighter and lighter, and I now have not had one for 3 months :T , might be worth you considering, take care hun xx
