Kaupthing Edge CHAPS Transfer

We're now on £3.9m and 127 transfers. I still think that the CHAPS will come through tomorrow but if they don't start appearing then at what time do you all want me to start 'making a fuss' with all the details?

Lack of email from ING bothers me not at all as CHAPS are not manual transfers, some people who have sent me their details were aware that they had 'asked twice' and were having to wait.

Please, as soon as anyone receives a CHAPS initiated transfer - make the post.

Please check all your mail folders, antivirus, junk, deleted etc.

Make sure it’s the email name you submitted when the account was opened. I use lots of different aliases for different things.

It also has nothing to do with any of the theories we've advanced here. It's much after the transfer from KE to ING, and it's actually even after some people had started getting their money (which IIRC began on the 10th). So what on earth is the problem?

Done that....had the earlier ones, but NOT the one some others have received today specifically confirming they are 'delayed'. I did CHAPS transfer on 7th online - did not phone it in!

I have. Only one from ING last sunday, nothing since. I'm also CHAPs on the 8th.

What did your 2nd one say?

Hi,

My KE account had a balance of £25.21 which I requested a transfer to my nominated account on 8th Oct. Money arrived in my LTSB account on 17/10 showing credit from F/FLOW /GB79RBOS15.

Are you going to try ING first? I would vote for ING at 9.0am if we've all started posting that we havn't seen any funds and then 10.am to the media if ING don't respond with believable explanations. Just my idea and i welcome others opinions.

Did you request the transfer by Bacs or Chaps. This seems to be the problem. If your Chaps you will be the first I've seen paid.

has anyone any idea how long CHAPS would take to show if ING had been putting the CHAPS transactions through over the weekend and hence hit the system Monday morning. If we know this - it would be the time to start making a fuss
