Here we go - thanks for continuing to send the info:

£3,767,729 not arrived at linked accounts. 123 transfers (2 whose value I don't know) - 7 BACS and 116 CHAPS

15 banks as linked accounts

I posted on the fools forum yesterday to ask for info - someone kindly said I should get a life (must be in oblivion :rotfl: ) - said person,I would guess, is not wondering where their money is. Anyway, glad to see that the message got through to some.

Remember - PM or email lovelife42@hotmail.co.uk if you have details for me to add.

Hi tmvc2007. Saw your post on the Fool site and the response from the troll. But he/she/it was shot down very soon and there were those who appreciated your request. I think you're doing a great job - thanks.
:T
CHAPS out 8 Oct KE - received 20 Oct A+L
Still here for moral support.

Well I bought a car today and need to pay for it in a weeks time. Here is hoping that they have cleared down the backlog when I make the transfer tomorrow.

• Hi again all, lets hope this thread is at last entering it's final mile and that it will be a quick one ;)
I am not sure if there is any relevence in this, but I'll share it anyway in case anybody has any thoughts.

I sent a message to KE via the 'contact us' section of the website after logging in about a week ago, (i.e. after ING took over) and was simply a plea to pay me my money without further delay!!!

I did not expect a reply (such is life nowadays!!), but I received one this afteroon from somebody called Lorraine Pearson of KE Customer services. It was full of the 'ING BLAH BLAH' about working through payments etc but 'ING' itself was not mentioned anywhere in the e-mail. At the bottom of the e-mail are the details of the Administrators.

This concerns me somewhat as it certainly appears as though my account is still in the hands of KE and not ING. I hope I'm looking into this too much, but fear the worst at the moment .....roll on Monday.

Hot Press:

"ING, the Dutch savings bank which has more than a million savers in the UK, is to get a €10bn capital injection from the Netherlands authorities, the latest bank to be affected by the global credit crisis."

This is the spin tomorrw's Guardian is putting on ING's cash injection.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2008/oct/19/ing-bank-dutch-cash-injection

Oh dear. Somehow I think that Ing's BACS/CHAPS department is going to be busy over the next few days.
• Tomorrow there will be 10-20-30 pages of POSITIVE posts, and the NEGATIVE posters will hide, even though their money’s in the bank!!

I sincerely hope that your correct zaphod as this would be a result for the good people of this thread. I do think however, if it wasn't for this thread, there wouldn't have been daily updates on the KE/ING site - Which coincidently, seem to be responding to the pressure of the very people posting here!......................They (ING) just don't go far enough in their transparency

PS,

I recieved the cash I requested on the 5th October on Friday, but I do have other substantial funds held!
Non illigitamus carborundum!!
• All,
Just got off the phone from ING....simple question..."what constitutes a manual transaction in the context of the 5% outstanding as per your latest update on the web site?"

Answer: They just dont know! I asked about CHAPS transactions as to whether these were specifically the "manual transactions" in question - at first the chap gave me the usual spiel and then admitted he didn't know.

Very frustrating, I suspect if your money is not in at Brekkie tomorrow it is going to be a longer wait.

Suggest we update the db at some agreed point tomorrow and then start shouting...in a constructive manner of course :T
Thanks,
K.
PS Now htting the claret!

What I sincerely hope doesn't happen is that ING Direct turn round and say "Sorry, but the balance that we took over was the amount that was left after that transaction was deducted, not before, so it's not our responsibility - and if you haven't received the money, you're going to have to chase the KSF administrators."

My brain hurts.

If this was the case, you would think it would be one of the first questions for the administrators - how much was moved the days either side of the takeover? Given that CHAPS isn't entirely automated and if there was a freeze on accounts, there must be money floating somewhere. We paid for CHAPS service, so if KE/ING did not fulfil this transfer contract, then ING should return the monies to us, not the administrators.

If all KE monies is guaranteed, then the holding account is off limits to the administrators as well. BTW - agree with tmvc that it's not with the administrators.

I still think the requests are all in someone's intray coz they wanted to go home early on Friday.

BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11
