Just out of interest what thread name were you on on Motley as I just tried to have a look at what people were saying on that forum... Are there as many complaining / coming up with theories, explanations etc?
  • I've decided to reserve judgement till tomorrow. If no money appears, then I'll panic/escalate hostilities.

In accordance with the painful life lesson that this debacle has taught me, I have implimented my new life plan of spending my remaining money before it gets swallow by yet another bank failure. Went to the garage today, spent money and we pick up our new car on Tuesday.

I sincerely hope that we're not all still here tomorrow night fruitlessly speculating as to why ING have failed to pay up yet again. Fingers crossed!
    CHAPS 8/10 received Halifax 20/10
    BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
    BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11

Looks like ING are finally aware of the Chaps requests. Bet it's come as a surprise!!! Now they need to speak to the administrators tends to confirm the money never left KE.

I'm preparing for a longer battle. Don't think we'll see funds tomorrow

Not generally gloomy - leaf through the 240+ pages for some side-splitting humour! But us CHAPS have been keeping long hours and still don't know where our money is. And - real quality in this forum - people stay with us who've got their money now. Welcome to a great family!
