That's right. I have already said to them that I instigated my long term bonds to be closed whilst it was KE, but I would be happy for my money to stay in with ING. They said it was too late if it was in the system, I am now hoping that the long term bonds were never terminated and that my money is still in them, as shown on the website. However I was told that thew ebsite is out of date and they probably have been cashed in, I need to ring back and get this confirmed.

All the more reason for ING to sort this quickly, hoping for savings to return. Theyre touting for business. People here have received mail shots, offering to top up a newaccount with 20 quid !

• Your first move, I suggest, is to email enquiries@fscs.org.uk. The FSA will not take up individual consumer complaints, as I understand it.

Count me in if a quorum is required.

I will be contacting them 8am Monday by phone and I will post the results/information here. I am sure if we need to gather together then it will not be a problem.

Any other ways we can pursue this complaint, anyone???

..........edited out...... The Friday deadline was announced around the same time that the Panorama programme was announced, no doubt to stop a run on ING by scared customers.

Of course it's great that the BACS customers are getting their money but that leaves thousands of us with life savings floating around in the ether. I am sure that the press would take our story now but of course, a run on the bank would not help our case so that's probably not the best route.

Do we know if all BACS transfers have been honoured?

We must ensure ING executives are made aware of the fact that their promisses have not been met, exposing the bank to a run on deposits if the press get hold of this story. Someone has posted on this forum yesterday links to articles that appeared on Reuters and Bloombergs websites yeterday concerning ING share price falls.

How do we tell De Wit?

• I'd be interested to know if anyone has received a response to any email they sent to Kaupthing - I certainly haven't, and I emailed them over a week ago when the info given over the telephone was rubbish.......I doubt they are answering any as they can't keep up with emails either...

I know this thread has gone quiet from those of us that were lucky enough to have got their money back but I am sure I speak for many others when I say that I am still watching and giving my support to you all :grouphug:

I just dont want to clog up the thread that's all but any help I can give I will.
• Kaupthing is open for telephone queries this morning, but so far no luck in trying to get through....if I do I will post the undoubtedly rubbish answer I get

Morning Everyone. I have been folowing this thread since the KE debacle started and used it as my only source of information regarding transfers. I can now happily say that my BACS transfer has arrived in my account as of yesterday evening (Thanks be to the Lord!) and I can only think that those unfortunate few still waiting for their money by CHAPS will see it arrive very soon. Thank you Everyone who has posted valuble information regarding this matter, I for one am very grateful for all your wise words.
