Big hug to Luke - your optimism hasn't dwindled and you continue to be a huge support to everyone. You are genuinely pleased when someone else gets their cash and I for one am pretty gutted that you haven't yet. Good luck to everyone still waiting, I know they are only words but I mean it. Fingers crossed money will continue to trickle in and hope you don't combust with the frustration and complete random unfairness at thee whole situation. It seems to be too random for words.

I did a CHAPS 8pm Tue 7th Oct, to my Halifax c/a

I have recently done other CHAPS transfers, one from Icesave was instructed at 8am and popped up in Halifax at 5:10 pm... i was refreshing every 2 mins from 5pm. One from Firstsave, issued at 8am, popped up about 2pm... i was checking hourly. So they can appear in Halifax during the day and even slightly after 5pm.

This is the first time Ive started to get a bit twitchy now, we have been given a specific deadline, which has been breached. If it doesnt show on Monday, then it is brown pants time.

Just to let people know that payments are now filtering through. My funds some of which I had transferred from Icesave) which I had requested over a week ago have today been paid into my bank account. A great relief and from now on all my spare cash will be going into British accounts, even if I get a lower rate of interest. Unfortunately I still have some cash in an Icesave account and I can't see this being dealt with so quickly.
Hope some other people have been lucky today and had cash refunded.:T
