  • 10 minutes left to the cut-off time given to me by ING this afternoon. What next? I really am getting deeply concerned... even I could have organised the PR better (if not the transfers)

I did three transfers last week
    Monday 6th - £2000 by BACS - arrived Friday 10th :j
Wed 8th - £12.5k by CHAPS - no sign of it
    Thur 9th - £1000 by BACS - arrived this afternoon :j

so my two small BACS transactions have arrived, my one large CHAPS transaction is in the ether still.
I've resisted calling them up to now but following their email promising I would have my money today I've just called. No help, she says CHAPS is a manual transaction so will take longer, no real idea how long, but don't worry your money is safe
    My receiving bank is Abbey.

Well there you have it. 5:46pm and just checked again and the money isn't there (in Lloyds).

£31,000 "missing" since last Wednesday (chaps).

Large CHAPS left KE on 7th at 1230, and still no show.

A very small BACS left KE on 8th at 1200 and appeared this pm as CHAPS

    --both into LTSB.

Why are early CHAPS payments not being processed????
No more offshore banking for me

Yes, most of the pending transfers seem to be CHAPS. Really, ING, I must say once again that this was a rather odd policy you chose, prioritising BACS over CHAPS!
CHAPS to Natwest: sent 9/10, RECEIVED 22/10 at 16.35

The Fools message board also indicates no original CHAPS payments getting through today. There could be a logical reason for this - ie. that are more 'complicated' to process or some such nonsense. I've been trying to stay calm but is there any chance that the CHAPS details are lost or is it more likely that they were processed in batches and the bacs went through first?

Again all BACS no CHAPS. I wish i'd have used BACS now. Thought I was being clever, clearly not! http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/images/smilies/redface.gif
