I am so sorry to see that a lot of you are still waiting . For those of you enquiring about Halifax ...I am with Intelligent Finance which is part of Halifax and I received mine this morning by normal BACS payment.

Having a bit of trouble getting on Barclays website, often get ..... Server busy.... Still keep checking every half hour though in the hope my CHAPS payment from the 7th will appear... fingers, and everything else crossed.

No money in Barclays yet.
My Transfers are normally seen before 12 noon if thare are any at all.
Sorry for the downer, but I therefore will predict that I will not be seeing any today or the weekend.
If yopu call ING, they will probably just say - Well they have started 'before the close of business today, as promised' and you will receive yours Monday.... I hope

DON’T PANIC OR FRET (I’m not)

I’m still waiting for my CHAPS transfer into my Halifax account.

There is a lot of speculation, rumours and telesales standard Bulls*#%.

I’m involved with IT and when someone hits that CHAPS transfer button, 26,000 transfers will happen in minutes. 26,000 is a minute number in computing terms.

5-6pm is the time to panic. I know it will mean another weekend of worry but the fact that some money is getting through is 100% improvement on yesterday.

Working lunch have just mentioned our problem and ING are still confident most people will be paid today.

I wonder if they are doing what they did last Friday. I bet if I ring ING they will tell me that I am probably one of the......... "very small number of manual payment instructions which are still being processed and which will take slightly longer." (Quoted from the ING update of 14/10/2008)
Has anybody rang this morning KE or ING and been told that they can now access our accounts to discuss with us via the telephone?

Rachel, on Working Lunch has just mentioned our situation and seems very up to date having had emails from folk. She says that ING are still saying that all will receive today, constantly going through so check, apart of course from the ones we know are not expected to.
