It is now 15th October and this money has still not found it's way into my linked account. I am worried as I cannpt afford to lose this money (hence removing it from Kaupthing when I suspected they were going under!)
My money appears to be floating around between banks. I used BACCS transfer.
Looks like you've got some catching up to do....only 109 pages to read...!0 -

Just giving it a bit more thought, how about donations to a charity that deals with real poverty, such as the homeless?
I'm going to try to contact Shelter and see if we could have a special donations place on their site assuming the money comes through on Friday of course.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -

Yes, it is a worry for lots of us on here. There are some lovely, supportive posts on here which it might be worth you taking some time to read but it is understandable that such a long thread might be quite offputting. Try to ignore the more impatient posts, not everyone is blessed with that useful virtue. Good luck to you in your quest.0 -

Should all be paid by the end of the week. Hope you didn't need it quickly. I'm putting my £35k back into ING for a while - grateful to them for stepping in and helping us out. Those guys must be putting in serious overtime to get all this sorted out.0 -

Let me know what you come up with0 -
Can i ask how many people who have fixed term deposits with kaup now ING will keep there deposits ongoing after all this "waiting" for monies is resolved"
My issue is that my isa with icesave had to be guaranteed by uk as iceland had no money in there compensation scheme (as the reason the uk has frozen there uk assets) My worry is could the Dutch compensation scheme encounter the same problem0 -
thanks brionz, I'll tell my bank manager to calm down 'til friday anyway!0
