I requested a BACS 3pm tuesday and my friend requested a CHAPS at the same time, we still havent received anything. The statement page on my KE account has a transacation number but no transaction has taken place as yet.

I am sure we will get the money sometime this week but it makes me mad the fact that we are powerless in this, people lives are being affected by this fiasco and all we can do is keep checking our accounts in hope.

Well done KE, ING, I am not impressed and will never trust a bank again

Did I miss something I thought ING took over wed 8th at 2.00pm. Why do people think the takeover was tues!

Well its 1808 hrs and mine hasn't come through, I have just checked my nominated account...this is pathetic. I appreciate ING have had their hands full, but little or no information,no updates and no one answering the phone,its getting very frustrating!!!

I think that when we've all got our savings back we should just go and spend it all on nice things. That way we won't risk losing it again, and the economy would get a boost.

I'm tempted to go for several thousand pairs of shoes and a few nice handbags...

I doubt it ... someone at KE will have been given an email and told to send it out to all users, in the same way that ING will have asked an IT bod at KE to plonk the ING logo all over the website.

Dutch, I vaguely remember something about Tuesday am. Is that when KE stopped trading or had their funds seized or something?
