• ...not to mention chaps fees frudulently taken twice. I believe most people have had the £20 deducted both from their kaupthing account balance and then again from the amount transferred.

Anyway, still waiting for my Tues AM chaps transfer.....

Is anyone still receiving money from KE? Or has this process stopped now for the weekend...

called my bank first direct this afternoon and they said that if the bacs transfer wasn't in by 1730 today it wouldn't show on my account even though they run a live system. The next update on my account will be first thing monday morning. Hope this helps

Ahh but the Post Office is 100% guaranteed in Ireland, anyone else want to risk money out of the UK!?!

I'd suggest adding National Savings 100% protected, oh and remember and Bradford and Bingley.

Or less than 50K in any good UK bank, all still FSCS protected remember.

LTSB is easily the safest bank currently too.

Guys - I got my BACS transfer into my linked account as did loads of others who have been sitting on this thread for the last couple of days. My was initiated last Sunday.

It is clear that the worry that has encapsulated us all is now in essence over. I know that some of you who haven’t seen the money hit your linked account will still be a bit concerned, but I am 100% convinced that your concerns are now unfounded. You should be able to sleep easy tonight.

There were a number of us who tried our best to bring as much attention to this situation within the media as possible, and I am sure that this had some impact on ING pulling their finger out due to the damage that could have resulted in the bad press they would have received. However, I think we all owe a debt of gratitude to "nomorekids" who was able to take the offer that I (and others) received from Channel 4 news of going on air lunchtime and letting the nation know what was happening.

Thanks, I'll look forward to Monday morning. I won't be checking my account until then.

1Supermo - Firstly try not to worry. Take a look at the history in this thread and you will see that everything is now looking OK.
