The banks rely on people thinking that way, I think we should be entited to loss of interest and any charges paid

Did a BACS transfer (£10k) on the 6th oct, Just checked my nominated account and very happy to say that it arrived late on today
Still have £20k in the fixed deposit account and plan to leave that there

My chaps transfer from Sunday has just appeared in linked account:j I can get my new car now!!! Not too concerned about the rest of money will leave it for now until dust settles and can decide what best to do with it.- thanks for everyones support over last few days.

I guess everyone who received their money today is out celebrating!
No such luck 4 me did chaps transfer wed at 8.30am and still no sign!
Bit quiet round here now guess CHAPS have finished 4 the day!

I rang KE on Thursday to close my fixed rate account,a very nice gentleman did it all for me and I was told it would be next week sometime when the money was transfered into my account.They must have a huge backlog.

What I would really like to know, is what to do with it now.I am no longer bothered about a high intrest rate just want somewhere safe to keep my hard earned cash........any ideas? they would be appreciated.

If you invest your money, you could earn big profits but you could lose your shirt. You know you are taking a risk.

If you save your money, you’d expect it to be solid as a rock and earn a more modest interest. So you shop around for the best deal. I will fight for every penny I am entitled to, including interest and CHAPS fees taken fraudulently. :mad:
