    Regarding the loo rolls.

Do you have any of the Nouvelle 50p coupons out of the Tesco magazine?

I have been using these along with a £1.50 couponnet coupon and so have been getting them for free.

Plus they were the 6 for 4 packs.

Went today and it seems like they are now back to the normal 4 pack ones.

Also don't buy the small packs of 1kg tesco oats buy the 2kg of Mornflake Oats which are £1.01. You will get 3kg extra porridge for £14.50, which is a lot, that's about 60 servings for a normal person at 50g or 40 for me :)

I found them in asda does anyone know if they sell them in Tesco
    Kind Regards

No they don't, not according to mysupermarket.com anyway
  • I do hope you are going to get Mr Ts to do the legwork, ie deliver to you instead of queueing at the tills......................

I just logged into my account at www.tesco.com and it shows them as being for sale but this is linked to your local postcode area so some areas may not have them for some reason.

have you thought of shopping around, I was in Iceland this morning and they seem to have good offers on (but my freezer was full) they'll deliver but you shop yourself, asda, farm foods etc aswell (if they are in your area)

If going for delivery I'd split it to make the most of offers.
One day I might be more organised...........

My Mum has helped us out by giving me another £250 on tesco gift cards. So £300 in all.

    Heh

I wonder if you could phone the CS and ask if they would deliver the oats as part of the purchase or would stock them instore, considering you are buying loads of stuff.
    Buy for value not cost.

  • Hi mum of four

Iv been watching this thread with intrest as my partner and I will get our student loans at the end of the week and I was thinking about doing a big stock up thing with about £400.00 to try to keep us going untill the next bit of our loan in january.
I think loo roll is always a good one to stock up on and wahing powder

picked up the children from school and decided to look for the oats, couldn't find them is there another isle they might be in. I looked in the ceral isle. Maybe my T doesn't stock them.

In asda they are also £1 but really want to stick to using my gift cards.

Peas out of stock, mince 3 packs on the shelf and no 3kg pasta on the shelves  don't think i will go shopping this evening i might do it straight after the school run in the morning.

i can see the actual shooping trip being a nightmare - so even when you have money they don't let you spend it!!!
    Kind Regards
