  • Hi ladies, I've only just made it on tonight - haven't caught up at all this weekend - seem to have one huge round of children ferrying and cooking with a bit of tidying thrown in - now I'm back to work and that's just a b**ch! When will it get better? please someone tell me?! Struggled to do extra last week just to catch up but the head just didn't have time to check the accounts and sign the cheques I left for her on Friday - so I'm no further forward than last week - and when she does have time I'll be snowed under with some other rubbish she's found for me!! Had to take a deep breath when she waltzed into the office last week and moved everything around claiming it was untidy - it was very organised thanks to all that I've learnt over the summer - and of course now I can't find anything she moved!! grr!! my space not hers!! Rant over thanks for listening!
Anyhow - will be attempting to keep on track this week - friend arived unexpectedly today and remarked that it was still looking good since the last time he visited!! I'm well chuffed with that!
Off to friend's on Friday so really will try to get as much done as possible during the week. Oh and before I forget - my MACAW is to make sure we eat at table,(a spilt glass of red wine on a cream carpet was the last straw especially as it was my Sunday treat!!); the children are making sure they set or clear it - this is working a treat - DS is great at remembering his MACAWS and even DD (7) is getting there! Finally a way of getting some help without them noticing!!

    (((Hugs to all )))

  • evening all,

i haven't caught up but ((((hugs)))) to all (especially pigpen) who need them. i'm feeling a bit better about my inability to fly & trying baby steps like you all told me yesterday.

so, yesterday i cleared my ironing pile, folded all the clean clothes, moved dd1s to her room, put away dd2s & dfs, mine are still in a pile cos no space in my wardrobe! it took me nearly 3hours to iron everything (& i hate ironing  )

    anyhow, today i've managed ...
    Dailies:
    WM / TD done
    DW unloaded & reloaded
    lunch for tomorrow me/df/dd1 done
clean, sterilise & make bottles for dd2 df doing (just got to make them now)
pack bag for dd2 done, just need to put bottles in tomorrow morning
check dd1 bag packed & clothes sorted yes
check dd1 done homework, help if necessary! she didn't have any
make dinner had chippy tea (had terrible day in work & no energy to cook once i got home cos up half last night with dd2)
Mr T delivery unpacked & away done with df help
go to slimming world & hopefully lose weight lost 2.5lbs but didn't stay cos dd2 not well
take & collect dd1 from dancing done (she got the bus in & df collected her)
list 1 item on ebay/freecycle done, dd1 highriser on freecycle

    1. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!- done - have started emptying my wardrobe of everything that doesn't fit cos i'm not going to be that big again!!! didn't bin it tho, it's in a bag waiting to go the clothes bank.
i'm off to bed now hoping for a better nights sleep than last night

I've had a lovely bath and DH has been very nice...think he feels guilty about the loose cables. Anyway...I have bruises everywhere (which don't actually hurt but they're making him be sooooo nice!) He's changed the bed, walked the dogs, cleaned the kitchen and done some DIY. It was ALMOST worth it.

Night all and hugs to everyone xx
  • Youv've done loads and loads loopyloo - well done - dont be hard on yourself - and very well done on the weight loss - wish I could do that!!

Can I add my name to the needy? I am feeling SO tired - just can't shake it - have been like it for the past few weeks. I have ordered some bee pills, meant to be natural energy makers LOL, so hopefully they will arrive today or tomorrow and will make a difference.

Hope pigpens ok - no sign of a new list yet.

toochoosey - tomato ketchup (if they use it) tin opener, pizza cutter, bottle of stardrops :D tea bags/coffee/sugar, local takeaway menus :D teaspoons (you can never have too many IMO) fire extinguisher/blanket, smoke alarm (if there isn't one fitted) carbon monoxide detector oh and a homecooked meal never goes amiss when in the chaos of moving house..........depends how far you want to go really.

Denise honey it's nighttime here so you can be an honourary brit and go to sleep :D The magic pills remind me of some bought by a friend to improve memory, she said they were great, then when we asked her what they were she couldn't remember the name :rotfl: oh yeah, really great! Oh and my aunty who bought pick me up type pills online, found out they were illegal later when she passed out and had blood tests ! EEEk!!!

Thanks for the advice, think they're for the chopper as soon as it comes through! I do have one of my own, £500 limit and I pay the balance off by DD monthly, so suppose that's there. What we did previously was I kept all the cards and pin numbers so he couldn't use them, he demanded them back saying he'd be careful. Well it got to about £9000 before he started sorting it, down to about £5000 now so he's getting there. I might keep his lowest interest one and hide it.

**I don't bulk buy** said with crossed fingers behind back standing in front of the cupboard so it doesn't pop open :o mainly it's cleaning stuff, I'm actually out of deoderant for DP for the first time since last November when that dreaded wilkos thing started :o I do it by having a bulk buy then every time I use something I put what it'd cost in a pot for the next time, well usually.

Ok, erm, pre soft play another washload empty/hung out, cleared some kitchen junk, emptied a handbag that needed washing due to a sticky sweet leaking (inc many other things I found in it a tesco gift card £10 :D , other vouchers, receipts from last xmas, receipt for the awning I needed to take to shout at them :D a random key...) set another washer load off. After soft play naff all!

Right, need to go do my pack ups/uniforms MACAW thingy, take painkillers, clear the clothes off my bed ( :o just remembered I've dumped them on there) sort dogs (had to drag them in earlier so I could do another hedgehog rescue mission) think that's about all. Then bed! I don't think I'll have time to pop in in the morning because I'm going to see my fave little baby for a cuddle :D while DP does some work on his Mam's car, can't believe he's 1 on Saturday! So will see you all at some point tomorrow, hope you all get a good nights sleep and have a good day.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
