Evening all! Haven't done any flying tonight because:
a) my fingers are really stiff and my wrist hurts
b) I didn't get home til nearly 7
c) I had to read nearly 11 pages of this thread
Huge hugs to everyone - it's definitely one of those days! Hope you all feel better very soon.
Now ....... did someone mention pegs?Matching pegs?
Well, on Pigpen's orders, I'm off to find the Ben and Jerry's in the freezer (well, the cold will be good for my arm / hand / fingers!!!)
Take care x"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
"I'm feeling like a Monday but someday I'll be Saturday night" - Bon Jovi0 -
Rach a very brief summary
Pigpen's stressed - hugs needed - choccys/wine/ice cream etc has been prescribed for her and for some people who have the October? (winter is coming?) blues. Get up and go got up and went.
Matched pegs seem to be compulsory! lol
Mudbath is accident prone - but Soappie has a cunning plan
The thread got so long because Greenbee had a 'work at home' day...
Toochwhat about some lightbulbs -morris0ns have energy saving ones normally 39p each bargain at 5 for 50p!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I haven't managed to fly as such today - when I went to the job centre I asked for the funding to get some clothing for placement as I needed some boots, and a decent winter coat so I got one
To save me running around like a mad woman on Friday (and so I would have them for this week) I went after school with DD to Dorothy Perkins
I now have a pair of mid-high black (low but chunky heeled) boots, a winter jacket (with a hood for PE days
) and 2 thin jumpers. Cost to me personally £5
The jumpers were on offer £12 each or 2 for £20 so when I did the maths I figured I could afford the extra £5 to take advantage of the offer
Trouble was I also promised DD if she was good I'd take her to buy a magic wand (her Halloween costume is a witch, and she's got to dress as her favourite character from her favourite book for school on Friday aka Hermione from Harry Potter  ). Didn't realise the only place I could get one would be Argos, at £12.99  So she's paid me back half the cost, and I've paid the rest.
House looks like a bomb has gone off in it due to hotspots so I'm going to update finance spreadsheet and then tackle the hotspots, oh and sorting out some of my packed lunch for tomorrow. Back in 20min ish....Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hope you took a picture...

I know:) And I didn't as by the time I'd gone to get the camera he had put himself to bed right there on the floor! I picked him up to put him in bed and he grapped my cheek and said "daddy-seep tight". I think he's getting ready to drop his nap as he's sleeping less in the day and going to bed earlier in the evening.0 -

Evening all!
Survived the gym - asked OH what flying he'd done and all he's done is clear up a bit in the hall and put the bin out cos he read something about binbags! Didn't do any hoovering or anything and now it's too late again! MEN!
Anyway, I'm off to have a shower and wash my hair before bedtime.
