:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Nah, i've tied him up under the house with the cable until he promises to finish all the DIY jobs...i'm fed up of nearly breaking my neck/freezing/things not working etc. If he doesn't fix them then I will....that's made him start doing the jobs! xx

Well that's how they got cables under Westminster Abbey to televise the Queen's coronation - but they used ferrets.

Valli I had to read your post twice before I twigged:rotfl: mmm, let me explain...just how to do that? Chips has always been a Friday night dinner thing. But DF has been buying recently (since I started working at home) and now he buys 2 packets at £1.70 each...see where its going, thats £13.60 a month. I just worked out that that is £163.20!!! Then there's the Vetkoek (fetcook) which is really just bread dough thats been deep fried. Its a traditional saffer meal that DF LOOVVVEES,and since I've had the BM he insists on it. I've been making the dough and letting him do the frying (because my one hand doesn't co operate Im always nervous using open pots-also our hob isn't as stable as Im used to.)
So yes-it is going to be a luxury but not one Im paying for:) I am going to enjoy it every time I use it:)

Greenbee Thanks for your words. I have always been in the habit of washing hands (just never bothered with cream after). Since Flylady though I have to use cream after every time now. Ive already limited myself by only going outside (means I can't during the day with DS) so it's all principles Im getting used to. The trouble is I REALLY am addicted and Im struggling so much. I've never tried the patches before so Im hoping they will do it (its a 12 week course). I was thinking of putting something in my sig too coz aside from you guys saying something-maybe the whole process of updating it will be a diversion too?

Soappie Im glad you are feeling better.

I know there was something else but then I wasn't coming on now to catch up-just update. Oh well, I will post my list next. Im feeling very proud of myself as I thought I had a bad flying day today but turns out not. DF has also just said to me he's really impressed as he was putting away the meat and most of it didn't need repacking :j I did my meal plan so well that they are mostly in the right portions as they were bought:D Thank you flyladies:A

Something else I need to ask (some of you may have noticed last week) DF proposed to me on 09 October 2006. It was my late mums birthday and he had other plans, but I was really down and he wanted to try to change the date from having sadness to being joyful. He locked ourselves in the bathroom of the house I was living and popped the question-DS's SD was in the LR and kept interrupting him each time he tried to ask. Because he was there we never celebrated much and he had already told everyone he was going to so there were no big hoo ha's. Last year he had to work late. So to this day we have not yet celebrated our engagement. I want to do something special but since I can't find a sitter it will have to involve DS (or be around his routine) anyone have any ideas?

Right so with that let me do my list so I can check if the washings dry (with the intention of doing an HHI

Aaah!!! My heart will burst:) I was making tea and went into LR, DS wasn't there-DF thought he was with me. So we heard the mutters from the bedroom-he's in there sat on the floor with blankie, surrounded by all his teds with his Horlicks...reading them the wind in the willows:rotfl:
