I've made a tiny bit of progress in my room.. 2 binbags in the bin and one for charity shop. a bag full for ebay and a few bits for my sis.. and all my clothes are now in the wardrobe!

I cannot decide whether to ebay the pram seat and the car seat.. it has only been used 4 times but Tiddles would still fit in it IF we could take her anyway.. she gets mega car sick!!!

    I hate tidying upstairs!

Back from my HHC and I attacked my room - changed the bedding, dusted all the surfaces, hoovered the floor, cleaned the window and mirror, and wiped the doorframe! Also remembered to bring the washing in!

Have decided to delete what I have done as I feel better when the list actually looks shorter! Also definitely NOT tackling the spare room until half term

    Hi

I got rid of about half of the stuff at the carboot sale. I made £36 and Ds1 made £15 which he spent on a guitar  he did haggle it down from £20 though. It was a nice day for it too the sun shone the whole time.

I now have enough for Ds1's school trip :j .

OH was supposed to be looking after Ds2 but left him with SD1 for most of it:rolleyes: . When i got home the place was trashed:mad: what flying i did yesterday was all undone.

I got home and dumped the unsold stuff in the dining room, my friend came over unannounced:mad: and said what's happened here it looks like you've been burgled:eek: .

Sometimes i wonder if it's worth it. I am so tired now and have done nothing since i got home so it looks even worse.

Ds2 has fallen asleep so i'd better wake him up or he won't sleep tonight and i want an early night.

Forgot to say Nicki those models are amazing.

Stamp your foot, scream, shout and tell everyone to get up off their butts and help you! They've made the mess after all! (and if I was you I'd be tempted to tell friend that instead of coming out with the comments, she can help too coz you've had enough... ;) Tell her its work or no tea! :D )

As you kknow I was STREAM cleaning today. In my wellies. Well there is one bit, with a flood barrier where a great big tree was jammed in it holding water, branches and other junk back - the men couldn't shift it - but I was clearing branches etc from near it and I stepped in to BUM height. JUST before we broke for lunch - I could hardly haul myself out at all but managed to and they kindly took me for lunch in the lorry - then I didn't have to do the walk squelching. Bless her the lady who lays on lunch because she isn't able to join us let me in to use her bathroom to clean up- my socks were dripping outside. I stood and ate and trickled - I looked like I had p***** myself... we eat outside they have a sort of a lean to thing...

We pulled out a WHEELCHAIR and a computer chair and loads of rubbish and I cleared, on my own, a culvert thing which I think (hope) is where the road drains into. It was very smelly but gallons of water were backed up but have now gone..so it should be safer if we have heavy downpours again...and I didn't see any rats.
This year we cleaned the entire length of the bit we aim to do...

We have done really well. I hope the council man remembers to come back with the chainsaw and chop that tree up then it will run properly and it won't be bum deep.

I have now had a bath - everything I wore is in the machine - think I'll do a clean cycle tonight and my wellies are drying outside. I ache all over. I am very proud of myself. Hope you don't mind that girls.
