Right, I've caught up on the thread now, so better get on with some work - didn't get up until 11am as was out singing and dancing and drinking too last night (went to bed about 2.30-3am)... Haven't got a hangover, just a lazy cow and didn't want to get up!
Not done much of Thur & Fri lists, so those still to do, plus the squeekend list - hubby watching qualifying at the mo so I can get on with the bedrooms - everything else pretty much done downstairs (although by the time I get back down, it will probably be wrecked and he won't even have moved out of the chair - how do they manage that???)...

I've worked Tue-Friday (30 hours this week instead of just the usual 18) doing an art project with the year 6 kids and an artist. They took cardboard tubing, newspaper, masking tape, mud rock and poster paint and created these :
All Victorian Characters. Left to Right they are : Chimney sweep (Named Oliver by the kids), Queen Victoria, Isambard Kingdom Brunell and a Mill worker (named Milly by the kids). DD even helped out a little after school:rotfl:
Right, on with the flying....

Afternoon - peace reigns - OH taken all of them to pitch and putt.
Got DS3 shoes and trainers - he was a star, tidying up all the shoes in boxes afterwards to the guy who runs the shop gave him this little silver keyring (shoe promo thing) and he is so chuffed. Cost a fortune but the trainers are leather and DS says they are 'absolutely comfy'.
Got little 18th present and wrote cheque and sent.
40th - I can't choose - the pens were so expensive and wrote no better than a regular biro or rollerball so I have got her a plant - matches her name and is in flower name and some JL vouchers.
I'm in the process of machine dying some clothes for the first time - on their second wash now and so far so good. Bedding on the line.
Going to have a cuppa, make some doughballs and then an hour in the garden tidying. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Fantastic models Nicki!
and !!! YAY ME !!! I've finally found somewhere and have just booked it for my week off... an old coastguard cottage right on the beach about 40 miles away. Slightly over budget but it's got everything I want - open fire, can take the dog, remote, but not too remote - it does have neighbours. And it has an internet connection so I can pop in and say hello every so often. OOh, I'm getting quite excited now. I shall go straight after work next Friday.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
