    Triker - glad you're alive... at least partly... I'm sure someone will find a suitable smiley for you for next time

    Been to the farm shop and now have sweetcorn, aubergines, peppers, spinach, apples, cucumber, carrots, onions, lettuce and pears, so that (together with the stuff from the freezer that I sorted out last week) should keep me going for a bit.

    Off to hang out washing and reload machine, then into town to see real shops and people :p

    It's under the rim I'm needing to tackle, any tips, read on oldstyle coke soaked toilet roll stuffed there and lft over night apparently does the trick, but I'm looking for an easier option.

    Its a very hard water area so tons of limescale everywhere.;)

    Afternoon all. :hello:

    Haven't caught up on the thread, I've tried but with 20+ pages to read (80 posts per page) I'll never get this house clean :p So :

    HUGE HUGS TO EVERYONE

    Right, I really need to get stuck in now. My house isn't quite CHAOS but I wouldn't be happy if someone did "pop in" as its not clean. I'm going to set too and see what I can manage. So I'm editing this weeks list to fit with my house and I guess I better get started...

    Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
    Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Level 3
    Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..

    Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    1. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
    2. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    3. Demould Table & wall
    4. PULL OUT FRIDGEFREEZER AND CLEAN UNDER IT.
    5. MOP FLOOR
    Kitchen
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Clean the oven.. & hob
    Level Three
    Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
    Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    2. DEMOULD CEILING
    Bathroom
    Level One
    Clean & wash floors in these rooms
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
    Clean the windows in these rooms...
    Level Three
    Replace sponges and toothbrushes that need doing!!
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom.
    Empty all the upstairs bins!
    Extra mission: Take your pick!
    1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    kids roomsDD's job.
    Level One
    Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
    Level Two
    Vacuum the floor
    Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
    Strip beds and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
    Level Three
    Clean 2 windows
    Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
    Extra Task List
    1. Wipe the skirtings and window & door frames!
    Master Bedroom
    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
    [strike] Remove and [/strike] wash bed linen and duvet covers.
    [strike]Fling open the window and let in the cold![/strike]
    Level 2
    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    Replace Fresh Linen
    Level 3
    Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
    Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
    Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more

    1. Clean all the upstairs door frames
    2. Clean windows in these rooms
    3. Clear the top of a bedside cupboard/chest of drawers or shelf
    Weekend List / extras
    1. Laundry (jeans, dark non-iron, dark iron, dark bedding, lights, pink/purple, towels, cloths)
    2. Ironing - for as long as it takes while watching TV
    3. Mend 2 things from your 'mend it' pile!!
    4. Write a cupboard inventory.. include the freezer and fridge.. then Mealplan for the week.
    5. JOB APPLICATION FORM
    6. BROWNIE FUND-RAISING ORDER FORM
    7. CLEAN BRASS & outside.
    8. Sort out gardening stuff.
    9. Anything else that comes up...
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    You know years ago, before I had kids and the world was a simple place, I always said that housewives were just anal about cleaning their loo because they were secret alcoholics and liked to vomit into a clean loo.... and you lot have proved me right!!! :D :rotfl: :T

    Kitchen is gleaming (except for the four) and I have made shortcrust pasty for a lemon tart wich is chilling in the fridge as we speak.

    Just going to clean up and start the next lemon tart stage.
