A question...i have got bottles and bottles of body lotions and other smellies that have been given as gifts over the years, most have been opened, and the charity bag that is being collected on Tue has specified no bric - a - brac, is it better just to throw them cause don't most have a shelf life once they've been opened?

That's great Pigpen... and just think, you've actually managed to delegate the final choice to the univeristies and don't have to make it yourself! Congratulations on your superb management skills!

Pigpen - there's no sign of Triker since you went out... how badly did you scare her? :rotfl: :rotfl:

I do like to delegate! lol

Hhmmm.. Triker.. erm.. yeah I think she may be well and truly scared.. and that was me behaving myself.. didn't want people to get the wrong impression after all did I?!
Oh yes, coz I can't imagine you rushing into it, you would want to play like a cat with a mouse and savour the moment as he dug his hole, thinking he had one up on you while all the time you were sitting there with the golden bullet!

Second thoughts, you'd want him gone, so about 1 lesson!

Those were my thoughts too.. hubby said he gives him a week for that reason too..

and the bullet would have to be silver.. pure silver.. so he cannot come back from the dead.. and I may stake him too.. just to be on the safe side.. a beheading may be necessary.

Pigpen – I’m with Soappie you’d be great at forensics! Sleeves are always too long for me on coats / anything…comes of being a 5ft midget

I'm only 5ft 3... with my shoes on! lol.. hence I wear 4 inch heels when I go out!

bag them up and drop them at a charity shop or put them on freecycle. You could try phoning a residential home see if they would like them for some of the old people.. they are often very grateful for stuff. Especially suitable clothing as they go through so much.. not that I think you dress like you are 80 but because it popped in my head when I thought about your stuff.. lol.. When my gran died all her clothes and smellies went to the residential home up the road... including pants!

One load of laundry on the line, another load in the machine. Smoke alarms checked.

Washed, dressed, breakfasted & teeth clean (I'd hate for the tooth fairy to have to visit me :o and I'm having a filling at the end of this month)

Off to the farm shop, then back to hang out the next load of washing before braving real shops ....

    *waves*

House is not bad downstairs but upstairs is a pigsty! Kids are on holiday next week so I have no excuse (college is also on holiday, this is an easy bloomin life this!). My rooms to get done this week are hall and stairs (to include a lick of fresh paint on woodwork and banisters), master bedroom and kids room (to include a fresh lick of paint), paint bathroom ceiling and woodwork.

Lets see, catch up... our horse (my Dads really) had a bad kick and is lame and very poorly, DS2 has been given funding for 5 full days at nursery (9am-5pm) and as I am only there 3 days, I have 2 days to study and 'respite' (and yes, respite is in the conditions as well as 80% attendance and good reports from my tutors). DS1 had a good report at parents eve, he is doing great at everything but writing, he doesnt see the point in writing, but then my writing is horrible too.

Lil_me, thank you for the help with trikes last time I spoke to you (copying those disks now, will PM you when its done), got news, we went into halfords (to get a sterio for DH new car) and DS2 wanted to see the bikes. So.. santa has put a deposit on one for christmas that can have larger pedals and foot straps put on! It has nice chunky stableisers and he was going great in the shop. Had a wee tear in my eye when he was riding it.

Going to wash up the dishes then grab a coffee and catch up with whats been happening here.
