Morning :hello:
I did no flying yesterday evening cos it was friday

make more wedding invites
quick tidy in lounge / kitchen / dining room / bathroom
hoover through

list things on freecycle / ebay
catch up with washing

clean clothes away

order shopping
deal with our bedroom (might come back later & split this into smaller jobs)
'encourage' dd1 to do homework
will probably think of more as the day goes on but thats it for now.

Morning all,
I am so tired this morning. But it's my own stupid fault. Up til silly o'clock playing a PC game:rolleyes:
mozzy - I hope everyone feels better soon
juliejim - I have stacks to do today as well. So will join you in some HHC is you want;)
soappie - Hope you find somewhere nice for your weekend. I'm sure you will.
Valli - enjoy playing in the river today
Michelle - You have alot on your plate with your LO's. Being a mum is a thankless never ending task, but also very rewarding, eventually;) There is light at the end of the tunnel. Please, if you feel you are getting down, go to the doctors and try and nip it in the bud before things get to bad. Love and hugs to you.x
Right, oh joy of joys I have the pleasure of 4 extra teenagers over night, of the boy variety.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
DS asked for a birthday sleppover. What on earth possessed me to say yes, I have no idea.Temporary insanity I think.
So I have lots to do. Including making one of my legendary 'hedgepig' birthday cakes. Cooking a chocolate sponge, cutting it in half and then sticking butter icing all over it and shape like a hedgepig is the limit of my artistic cake talents. But they do taste bloody lovely:D
Off to think about doing something now. Might wait to do the main stuff till DS and DH have bogged off to their footy match. DS is playing today.
Catch you all in a bit0 -
Morning all xxxxxxx
Dusty.. I hope the 'get a grip' helped.. I'll send you some more just in case.. ~~~~~~ Good luck hunting for coats I've been trying for 3 years to find one for myself and I am yet to succeed!! I always feel the sleeves are too short..
I've just got a delivery of a HUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGE bag of stuff from the catalogue.. I am desperate for new sweater.. I have 3 at the moment.. so we shall see.. I think I ordered about 8 and I'll send a couple back. I ordered some boots as well.. 2 pairs.... One to replace my old dead ones.. they split down the side and another pair just because I can!
The renewal for my TD warranty turned up so I need to sort that.. I have to keep it.
I think I am now awake enough to go make a cuppa without spilling it all over myself so I'll go do that then kick hubby out of bed.. so.. I'll see you in a bit!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all, I'm being way too lazy and should really have got sorted by now. Going to make the boys breakfast in a mo then sit going through my x*** budget stuff again as they eat. The problem I have is I don't know what to buy anyone, older relatives being the most difficult but kids who have everything don't help. DS2 keeps moaning for an Xbox 360 but I've said no, it's the ONLY games console they don't have, can get all the same games for the others, see no point in another box to dust.
Holly, soappie and Mudbath good luck, Dusty I think we all get similar days sometimes but admittedly I find them sort of days the worst to go shopping (we managed to get DS2 a coat from sports soccer and DS1 one he liked from Asda) , mozzy put a big sign on the door warning others of infection and send everyone to bed! Hope the drunkards are feeling ok this morning inc sarahsplattered ::rotfl:
Right, feed kids, take them swimming, back for lunch & tidy up, over for Matthews party then decide if coming back here or staying home. One day I might be more organised...........

Morning All :hello:
Thanks again for all my birthday wishes yesterday. I had such a wonderful day. I felt like a princess. What more could a girlie want eh?! :T :T
The children stayed with my mother last night, and are just returning, so my peace is about to be shattered.
I had a gorgeous evening, with lovely mates. I've woken up to a beautifully tidy and clean house.... downstairs at least! We shoved any mess into bin bags and chucked them upstairs. I'm now wondering what's in them, and seriously contemplating not opening them, and just slinging them out.
However given that mixed in with I don't know what, is my SEN toolkit, and the children's leap-pads I guess I should tackle them one bag at a time, being ruthless. Cos my house looks so much nicer down here.
I'm still in birthday mode, and don't want to do anything sensible today. It's my nephew's 1st birthday party at my mum's today. SO that'll be fun.
My SIL is a bigger control freak than my mum, and that's saying something!!!!!!!!! So watching those two tussle it out is going to be quite something!!

Hello everyone! Anybody miss me?
I've had computer problems again, and it's taken me since Thursday to catch up with the thread!
Anyway, apologies to Sarah for not wishing you a happy birthday - I hope you had a nice time.
Pigpen I hope you're recovered after your fall - sounds nasty!
Hugs to all who need or want one.
Although I wasn't online, I did fill a huge charity bag with clothes on Tuesday night ready for collection on Wednesday, but they still haven't picked it up! My neighbour gave them a call and apparently their driver is on holiday - well why post the bags then?!! They should collect them on Monday with any luck. My bedroom now looks a lot tidier, as the clothes mountain that wouldn't fit in my tiny wardrobe had been reduced dramatically!
Have also been supplying a lot this week, and took elderly neighbour to the doctor again on Thursday morning.
I supplied at a school in Fareham yesterday, and they offered me a temporary job! It'll only be for about 4 months (covering for someone who had a heart attack), but I'll be able to finish off my NQT year. It's quite a long drive (about 50 minutes each way) but I didn't have to go through the horrible interview process etc, and also the fact that it's a temporary contract means that I can happily go back to supply at the end of it, or find a job closer to home. I haven't had anything in writing yet, but I have been given an application form and CRB check form and have to go along there on Monday afternoon to discuss things further. I am supplying there on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. The job will be in a small Year 4/5 class who I taught yesterday and they seem quite well-behaved. It'll be quite a contrast to the school I was in for my first two terms.
I've also met my MACAW this week as I've been going to the gym and have beaten my 3 day a week target. Will be off there again in a minute to go to body balance, and then I'm off to a 3rd birthday party (also in Fareham)armed with a present of Happy Birthday Spot the Dog sticker book.
See you all later on today hopefully, and please don't give me another 20 pages to catch up with this evening!

Well sarahshattered... if you are sarasplattered I must be pigpen pasted..not quite plastered though and triker says she can't cope with another night out with me.. I have my mothers friend saying I should do forensics so that is first choice I think and I am picking fights with random people ..
Mudbath.. it is grand to be one of my minions... call me gobby all you like I KNOW I am just assertive and so long as I don't take a fence you are ok.. yeah!?
Triker has met my mother... OMIGOSH... and seen my hubby be snogged by another man while I didn't bat an eye lol... maybe that is why she can't do 2 nights out in a row lol

I don't even know where to start with that lot! Hubby being snogged, mother's mates, and random fights..... whose fence shouldn't you take? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Sounds like your evening was entirely different to mine!!!!!
