    Hi everyone

Just wanted to let you know I've not gone away-not able to sit too long so alternating between sitting and lying so I've been trying to see what you've all been up to but not very easy. Just decided it'll be best if I rest up and get back on when my hip says its okay-but I've seen the benefits of flylady in a big way as I've not had to stress that there are things that need doing...thank you everyone.

I supplied at a school in Fareham yesterday, and they offered me a temporary job! woop.gif It'll only be for about 4 months (covering for someone who had a heart attack), but I'll be able to finish off my NQT year. It's quite a long drive (about 50 minutes each way) but I didn't have to go through the horrible interview process etc, and also the fact that it's a temporary contract means that I can happily go back to supply at the end of it, or find a job closer to home. I haven't had anything in writing yet, but I have been given an application form and CRB check form and have to go along there on Monday afternoon to discuss things further. I am supplying there on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. The job will be in a small Year 4/5 class who I taught yesterday and they seem quite well-behaved. It'll be quite a contrast to the school I was in for my first two terms.

I've also met my MACAW this week as I've been going to the gym and have beaten my 3 day a week target. Will be off there again in a minute to go to body balance, and then I'm off to a 3rd birthday party (also in Fareham)armed with a present of Happy Birthday Spot the Dog sticker book.

See you all later on today hopefully, and please don't give me another 20 pages to catch up with this evening!

    sexymouse xx

seems like things are going well for you too! nice one on getting that temp job - will get you through untill you've done your exam!!! :T
and well done on going to the gym so often :j

Morning all, I'm being way too lazy and should really have got sorted by now. Going to make the boys breakfast in a mo then sit going through my x*** budget stuff again as they eat. The problem I have is I don't know what to buy anyone, older relatives being the most difficult but kids who have everything don't help. DS2 keeps moaning for an Xbox 360 but I've said no, it's the ONLY games console they don't have, can get all the same games for the others, see no point in another box to dust.

Holly, soappie and Mudbath good luck, Dusty I think we all get similar days sometimes but admittedly I find them sort of days the worst to go shopping (we managed to get DS2 a coat from sports soccer and DS1 one he liked from Asda) , mozzy put a big sign on the door warning others of infection and send everyone to bed! Hope the drunkards are feeling ok this morning inc sarahsplattered ::rotfl:

Right, feed kids, take them swimming, back for lunch & tidy up, over for Matthews party then decide if coming back here or staying home.

we decided no presents for the grown ups - we just meet up and spend a nice day together! (because in the end you just get something you either don't like or it's something like smellies or for cooking ... i don't count that as xmas presents  )

and sorry, no sign is going up :p - why should i suffer on my own :D

    Morning all,

I am so tired this morning. But it's my own stupid fault. Up til silly o'clock playing a PC game:rolleyes:

mozzy - I hope everyone feels better soon

So I have lots to do. Including making one of my legendary 'hedgepig' birthday cakes. Cooking a chocolate sponge, cutting it in half and then sticking butter icing all over it and shape like a hedgepig is the limit of my artistic cake talents. But they do taste bloody lovely

Catch you all in a bit

well, kids are fighting over 'who is the winner'
so things seem to be improving ...

i love your hedgepig cake :D

    morning all

thanks for the good vibes. DH is in the study with his books. think a couple of days to think about it helped. I forsee another few blips before the exams but I'm hoping and praying he'll just see it that far. It's been hard for both of us with him working a lot in the evenings/weekends but I just hope he carrys on so its been worth it!

Flat needs a good fly, we're going out for lunch at 12.30/1pmish and mrT coming 3-5pm. Hoping to do what SM did the other week and do a room at a time through HHCs. I only really need to attack kitchen, bathroom, lounge & our bedroom. Study & spare room will cope with aquick S&S. Also got some extra bits to do:

    library books back
    picture up
    WM

    recycling out
check if 3g card working on work lappy

Sarahshattered - hope you had a good birthday. Do we get a pic of the diamond?

Juliejim – oops re the tooth fairy. I remember once getting a pound note rather than the usual 20p from the tooth fairy. I was well pleased. My mum was on a night shift (nurse) and when I showed her I heard her saying to my dad ‘why did you give her a pound?!’ and my dad saying ‘I didn’t have any change’

    Emily & Beccah – welcome

Lil_me – hope you have a good weekend

Pigpen – I’m with Soappie you’d be great at forensics! Sleeves are always too long for me on coats / anything…comes of being a 5ft midget.

Gingergirl is missing too, and we’ve not seen much of Kazmeister. Think the thread is getting so long these days that for people working it’s a bit off-putting to catch up on sometimes.

Michelle – big hugs girl, you have so much on your plate right now.

Holly – how did the boot sale go?

Dusty – we all have those days – hugs.

Sexymouse – I missed you! Great news about the job.
