I'll attempt that later.... if it's not too much like bragging/boasting???I mean, I'm delighted about it, but I'd hate to seem like I was being a braggart.... I hate that!

Bit late but I'm in0 -
I overran a bit but the kitchen is spotless (well not counting the hob). I've cleared & antibaced all the surfaces & hoovered the floor. Also emptied bin & put fresh bag in. dd1 made it home & is now doing homework as i've told her she can't go out until it's done (& her friend is coming at 11.30 so they can shop) - apparently i'm evil - yep

grrr, I didn't do well at all...need to go for another HHC in there at 11.30.
firstly i decided to quickly make a few pots of fat free jelly for next week's lunches, when i poured it into the first pot I managed to spill red jelly all over the worktop, down the cupboard door and into the cupboard, so had to remove all the plates, lasagne dishes etc and clean them as they had red jelly on them!
then i thought i'd make some breadcrumbs from some staleish french bread. though the third lot was taking a while when i check it had broken one of the blades off my mini braun choppoer thing which i love
and it stinks in there cos i emptied some old tuna out of the fridge and into the bin. It's a real pain putting stuff in the outside bin as it's chained and locked up but i think i'll hvae to as it doesn't go out til monday night!
so if anyone's in for another HHC at 11.30 I am!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Quite unreasonably they insisted on me going into work yesterday afternoonand then I went out for the evening to an anniversary party and the local beauty salon and had a few sample treatments, some fizz & chocolate, and booked a myself a few friday treats (reflexology & pedicure next week, can't wait :j ).
I've not had a very productive day so far:rolleyes: , and i'm doing a carboot sale tomorrow so i have to get everthing ready for that. My house is a tip and i could scream. I don't know where to start.
If only I'd known I'd have sent over the contents of my garage for you to get rid of as well!Very little done as DS2 decided to spend half the night being sick - the third time he has been off school in his first seven weeks. Combined with DS1 putting a garden fork through his welly and slicing his big toe open earlier in the week, and the large bruise on his cheek where he fell off someone elses trampoline a few weeks ago - how long till social services come calling?
Hugs Hex. Hope they don't do any further damage to themselves this weekend!
It's NOT an obsession...it's a lifestyle CHOICE:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Err... no it isn't...Right.. I have made a decision.. Can you believe it??
I will apply for both.. the biomed science and the forensics.. and as long as I am paying to apply for more than one I may as well apply for the maximum of 5 that I can so I'll do that.. I'll add forensic at lincoln, biology here and the other biomed.. there are 2 virtually identical.. but not the same.. there you are.. 5.. I shall now go find the course codes and add them to my UCAS application now.
Is that suitable and acceptable my little minions?
That's great Pigpen... and just think, you've actually managed to delegate the final choice to the univeristies and don't have to make it yourself! Congratulations on your superb management skills!
So I have lots to do. Including making one of my legendary 'hedgepig' birthday cakes. Cooking a chocolate sponge, cutting it in half and then sticking butter icing all over it and shape like a hedgepig is the limit of my artistic cake talents. But they do taste bloody lovely:D
TAG - I make one of these, and make the spikes using (carefully) broken flakes stuck into the icing.Hi everyone
Just wanted to let you know I've not gone away-not able to sit too long so alternating between sitting and lying so I've been trying to see what you've all been up to but not very easy. Just decided it'll be best if I rest up and get back on when my hip says its okay-but I've seen the benefits of flylady in a big way as I've not had to stress that there are things that need doing...thank you everyone.
Good to see you are taking things easy and letting your body recover in its own time. I know it can be frustrating being tied to the sofa, but it'll be over quicker if you are sensible. I'm sure DF and DS will be on their best behaviour and keep things up to scratch for you! Hope you feel better soon.
SM - of course we missed you (well, I haven't been around either, and I've missed EVERYONE!!!). Congrats on the job.
Pigpen - there's no sign of Triker since you went out... how badly did you scare her? :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have done almost no flying this week (although I did bung soda crystals & the WM and DW yesterday in passing), so I've got a lot of catching up to do, plus food shopping (its got to the point where I can't avoid it any longer) and blitzing the garden seeing as the weather is nice)
I'll drop in and see how you're all doing every so often. Hope you all have a great weekend.0 -
That long??
Oh yes, coz I can't imagine you rushing into it, you would want to play like a cat with a mouse and savour the moment as he dug his hole, thinking he had one up on you while all the time you were sitting there with the golden bullet!
Second thoughts, you'd want him gone, so about 1 lesson!LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
