This thread is useless without pictures.

Just been on cmoptions.org - some very useful reading on there.
I forgot to add the reason why the mother only has a post office account, she is still declared as bankrupt and tells me she can't open a bank account for another 3 years.
So if we were to make private arrangments (looking unlikely) i'd need to find a way of setting up a standing order to something thats directly related to her and no one else. Her parents couldnt accept the standing order from me and they give her the monies in cash.....?
Would it be an idea to book a day off work and go sit in Citizens advice for a day.?0 -
I wonder how you would stand if you set up a bank account for your daughter and paid the money into that, clearly titled as to what its purpose was.:wave:0

Even bankrupts can open a basic bank account. Don't let her fob you off.
Day at the CAB may be a plan. Make sure you ask for a CSA savvy volunteer though. Nothing worse that getting there and getting someone who looks at you blankly!0 -
Options for you.
1)If she closes the CSA case, you can do whatever you want. A new case would have to be opened at a later date for the CSA to become involved again.
2)Making the case maintenance direct. The CSA do the calculation, but what is paid to whom is between the two of you. If one of you asked for the money to be collected by the agency again, it would only be from the collection date - no arrears would be gathered.
I would recommend that if you end up paying in cash, you get a receipt.
Hope that makes sense.0 -

Would that work though as the CSA rulings say the money should be paid to the PWC for the benefit of the child?I know what you are saying clearly having it stated as maintenance but I'm sure there was something on here a while ago and it was found out that CSA monies couldn't be paid to the child's bank account...could be wrong (aye, like THAT'S gonna happen!!! I'm a woman !!!!!!...even when I am wrong I am right and it's the man's fault!!!!):rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
