Hi Retro, Just thought I'd pop over and catch up with you .... what a month Feb has been!
Good luck with the interview on Tuesday - I'm sure your natural enthusiasm will shine through!! Great news about the lodger going too. It's amazing what a difference it makes to get your own home 'back'!
Will be sure to keep checking next week to see if you got the job. Will be crossing my fingers for you! If you got it, and then got the Police one and the Council one offered which one would you go for????

Milly - Thanks v much. I haven't ebayed much this weekend! I've only got 4 things on. Must do more today.
Rags - You're right! 'Normal' me would have gone running to the Bank Of Mom, and put me into more debt. So at least that isn't the case.
Lewby - Thanks for the kind wishes. I'd go for the council I think! More money, and could car-share with DH to work.
Well, day 2 of March, most of the bills have gone out & only have about £150 left.
I'm sick of doing this every month. I NEED A JOB! I need to watch the bank account carefully today to be sure not to go over.
Again, I've slacked towards the end of the month with Ebay. Need to do lots of auctions today. Only have 4 on at the moment, which is ridiculous.
Going to try to conquer the NSD challenge this month. Will also sign up for the £10 a day again, but think I will higher my target to £15 a day. I need to be pushed.
Spent a lot of the weekend sorting out the old business, getting stuff together to give back to folk, and had a visit to the accountant. Close to getting that sorted, and getting my conservatory back!
Getting a bit nervous about tomorrow now. I can't get my hopes up, there were a lot of candidates at the assessment centre, and apparently a lot were internal. The chances of me getting it are slim. But it doesn't shift the nerves! I have a lot of paperwork to fill in for tomorrow, then I must prepare for the interview. I can take notes in, which is good...
Must go & busy my mind with something. I'm getting all worked up! Sunny day here, lots I can do.Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Interview didn't go so well. I was a little bummed out yesterday, but today I'm feeling much better.
I have 6 applications still to do, so there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

NSD #1 yesterday. Will be another today no doubt.
Checked the bank accounts this morning & DH has been charged £25. He normally gets charges when his account goes over the OD. But I've checked his statements & he hasn't! There was enough money in the account to cover the bills, now there isn't. So here we go again. I'm so angry! He's going to phone to get a reasoning.
Tesco sold me last week's OK Mag yesterday (had to pick it up for my Mum - her £). Had to drive all the way back to exchange it, didn't even get an apology! So I'm going to be writing a nasty letter to them today.
Have to spend the day Ebay listing. Boohoo. Was going to get in the garden, but it's freezing here!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! NSD #2 yesterday. £168.31 into bank acc from Paypal. £4 from market research.
Have officially taken on business debt. Company is now dormant from today so in 3 months we can get it struck off. That's another £20k. We will have to keep doing 'business-ey' things on the side, because we can't afford to pay it personally without me working at the moment! There are monthly payments of about £230 to keep up with.
DH went to the bank about the charges, saying we weren't notified of them, I check the accounts & keep all letters rigorously for this situation arising! He also mentioned I wasn't working at the moment, and the lady kindly removed the charge. *Phew.
Picked up some 'buy to sell' bits on Saturday. Will list those at some point this week. Cleared out the conservatory yesterday of old shop 'stuff' to their rightful owners, and I now have a dining room again!

Well done on the NSD and getting the bank charges back

Sounds like you've still got a lot on, but you're getting through it and organised at least!
