Hiya,
Sorry to hear you're not feeling good:( I know how frustrating it is to go to the doctor and not get anywhere, I really hope the 3rd doc can help you.
Take care xI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Thanks both! 3rd Doc was so-so. I have been referred to a specialist (hoorah!) but first appointment is May! Bloody hell. But feeling much better, so if it stays like this until May I'll be very happy.
Ok, so ended March achieving 9/10 NSD's! Close! Closer than last month anyway. & blasted my target of £465 making £1036!!! I think it'll be just enough to cover our outgoings this month.
So April?! I need £800 for our bills in May, £800 for an old business debt that's due, and £750 to pay the accountant. £2350 by April 30th. (Rounded up to £80 a day!) EEK is all I have to say about that! DH & I have been brainstorming & hope we can achieve that! If we don't, well I don't know what we'll do!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! I didn't even notice, but DH's Capital One card was never on my signature tally?! I must have been going insane. So I've edited to accordingly. Sheesh. How could I forget that 39.9% piece of plastic?!
DH breaks up from work for a week & a half today. It will help having him around so much. We can get all the little DIY tasks sorted, some decorating, some repair, before I start my new job. Plus he can help me make the mammouth amount of money we need to raise this month. So every day counts!
Today I have a massive list of 'to do' & the whole weekend. It's weird knowing this place will be closed this weekend?! EEK! See you Monday guys!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Well the weekend of MSE absence wasn't too bad. Spent it in the garden digging etc & bagged my first NSD of the month. Would have had one on Sunday too buy I spent £1 on pegs at the car boot sale & a scarf for 30p! Ha!
DH is off this week & already have uprooted 5 massive (very deep) bushes in the garden thanks to his manpower.
Rain is due tomorrow so probably indoor DIY tasks to complete.
Feeling really happy today. Had a meeting with the accountant re old business & found out we officially made a loss of £5k, and therefore owe no corporation tax! Woo! Didn't think I could be happy about making a loss. He also offset £900 that we would have owed the company in one way or another. Great guy, will be keeping him for future ventures. Also lined up a few other things to prove a smooth closure of the business in a few months.
Have a lot of Ebaying to do tomorrow. I'm dreading it!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Hello Retro :hello:
I didn't know you had a diary..! Just wanted to pop my head in and say hi. I will have a proper read of your diary tomorrow at work!
Bye 4 now! x0 -
Just popped on to see how you've been and what a rollercoaster you have had! Sorry about the cat - thrilled about the job! Do you have a start date yet??
I am off work for 2 weeks and have great plans about decluttering the house, getting the decorating done, sorting out the garden, ebaying what I can ..... the list goes on. Won't get most of it done but will do my best. Having a list motivates me more - otherwise the days just disappear.
Well done with the weight loss too. Mine is going very slowly but it's in the right direction. I gave myself a year to lose 30lbs and have lost 9lbs so far so feel on track. I'm not one for cutting everything out .... it makes me really miserable. I have cut out bread though and feel much better.
Well done for being so motivated!

Lewby, still no start date, it's shocking! But my disclosure did come back the other day, so I'm one step closer!
Did a LOT of sorting yesterday in the 2 spare rooms. So much more stuff to Ebay than I probably realised. Had a clean up & put things in order so I can finally work through the organised piles!
Have gone over on the overdraft today because someone on Ebay didn't pay within a week & so my Paypal transfer was delayed. Having to beg the Bank of Mom for a 4 day loan!
Otherwise am feeling like I'm on track. Transferred £125 from Paypal today. Lots of listings to do.
Have tons of clothes to sell, but I need to wash them first. Given the wind today, I think it's time! Having DH around is really helping. My days are so much more productive with him around!
Not a lot to say really, just plodding along!

I have been a naughty girl. A week & no update. I've only been popping in to grab advice on the Greenfingered Board for tips in the garden! I've spent so much time outside this week it's insane (still no tan though). It's DH's fault... he's been off work & keeping me busy busy busy.
Have been digging in the garden & sorting out the workshop, in hope to turn it into an office/studio. My house is over run with 'projects'. We have a massive pile of 'stuff' to go into a skip as soon as we can get one. I thought I'd get all the house DIY projects finished, but no, NOTHING has been done inside the house! Oh no, I lie, DH put a carpet door strip down. :rotfl:
DH went back to work today & I'm back to my normal routine as I predicted!
I need to do some catching up with my finances to see how we are. We realised we're not going to make the £2350 by the end of the month as planned. It's just not viable. So Bank of Mom has given me her empty credit card to pay what I don't make by the end of the month. Then I will pay off her CC asap. I don't want to do it, but I'm going to have to.
