Awww sorry to hear about the account application:(
Hope your training goes well though:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Booooo to not being accepted for a joint account, you would think the state the banks and that are in they would be lapping up any custom they could get their grubby hands on??????
Hope your training goes ok, for some reason i always find training so tiresome, not sure if its the sitting down all day just listening thing that gets me (not really used to just sitting around)
hows your garden doing??? been looking at the greenfingered board and my god, the amount people can cram into the smallest gardens........................................December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Rags - Training is definitely tiresome! Especially when a lot of it is the basics... you don't want to seem cocky, but a lot of some things are common sense!
Gardening is going well! My potatoes seem to be coming along nicely, I will have to take some pics. My strawberry plants are quite large & a fair few flowers! I have cauliflower & brussel sprouts coming along in the growhouse along with some flowers. Need to make some space for other things.
Have finished for the day today & am sitting outside DH's work on my new netbook. Had it arrive last night & used it on the train to work, at my training, and now as I have to wait 50 mins for DH to finish. It's wonderful. Best thing ever at the moment!
I sorted all of the bills yesterday and have budgeted until the end of the month when I get paid a full month.
It's DH's birthday on Monday & I think we'll take a trip to Devon at the end of the month for that. Camping, so nice and cheap!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Sorry to hear about joint application - boo to your bank
WOW at your garden - that sounds amazing!!! I can't even manage my lawn - have the oddest of soil and its getting on my nerves - moss one year, dries out in places... terrible shady areas - I'm officially not greenfingered!!
Netbook sounds cool (not quite sure what one is...

)
Hope you have a good weekend hun!!

Came home from work to find my cat Keiko spotting blood all over the house including all over the sofa. Had to take her to the vets, yes, cystitis is acting up again. £47 later she's fine & has the medication to sort her out.
Weekend tasks are to actually start the garage and plant up the rest of my seed potatoes & carrots.
Work shoes broke, so need to take them back to Schuh since they're 3 weeks old!Debt @ LBM 29/12/08 - £49044! Sounds like you're well and truly back on track - brilliant! (tho not about the shoes, or the cystitis, that's not so good especially if you're the cat!).
How much do you need to do to the garage? We need to clear ours out before we can start the conversion (which I want too for Ebay purposes) but having kids just drains the time and energy away. Hopefully your family will help. Good luck!0 -
Cant help with your cats wee problems sorry, i know that cranberry juice can help with humans............???????? ha ha ha!! I too had a pair of shoes from there that broke!!!December 2018: £20,850.24. Now: £18,333.02 Total paid in 2019: £2517.22

Panda - We're using ours for Ebay/business purposes too! It's an ex-workshop so it's pretty much fit for purpose already. Just needs insulating, boarding, new doors etc. All internal work should come in at around £300 (doing all the work ourselves too, so slow process). A new door will cost around £1100 - but that isn't needed right away.
Going off shopping with Mum this morning. Taking shoes back & buying a few bargain bits for DH's birthday on Monday. Might acquire a few items for myself via Mum too!

Why are garage doors so expensive?! We need two of 'em, and we need those before we start because we're going to build a wall 3 feet in so that from the front it still looks like a garage, and it's going to cost a couple of grand before we even start.
Anything nice couresy of mum today? My mum used to buy me loads of stuff, but now I've got kids I get nowt as they get it all!0 -
Hope your DH had a nice birthday!! and all is ok in Retro's world?LBM - 17th November 2008 - better late than never
