Did some estimated calculations for the end of the month last night. After minimum payments, food & budgeting etc, it leaves £200-ish. Nice amount to throw at debt but I wanted more! That does include £250 going to the business debt, as the business isn't trading at the mo to pay it's own way. So it will actually be more like £450 under normal circs.

Knowing any money for house things has to come from Ebay has made me want to start it right away! Was going to wait until the weekend, but am going to do some listing or at least sorting tonight. Nothing else to do since it's raining again. Grr!

Need to do some brainstorming for business ideas!

I caved in for the tickers... :(

Wow, you're doing really well on the weight loss. I looked at the tickers, but decided they'd just depress me too much. Shame we can't get them in our sigs, that might be a bit of an incentive. I'll just stick to colouring my squares.

Sorry to hear business not trading at the moment... but that's a good amount in my opinion at any point to throw at debt!!

Thanks all! Have been absent for a couple of days as we visited DH's Mum in Wales. We did need to see her as we haven't for a while, and with the weather was too good to pass up on a (free) trip away. So we stayed there for 2 nights. On the way home now & lots to do when we get back.

Went to a closing down sale on Thursday and got £380 worth of items such as Iams cat food, instant BBQs, blank discs, dishwasher tabs etc for £60! The main £180 worth of cat food being free because the cashier didn't scan it. OMG! I didn't even realise until I got home & I'm obviously not going to drive back to be honest! Oh well, at least hell is warm.

Had to tak DH's bike back to Halfords yesterday because the whole bloody thing fell apart while he was riding it at high speed on a main road, throwing him off the bike! So we're £99.99 better off at the moment.

Took up the Mail on Sunday offer mentioned in Martin's email about the camping for 3 nights for £2... we chose our favourite park in Woolacombe. We're staying Wednesday night to Saturday night, paying £50-ish in total. Had to pay full price for the Saturday obviously, and about £5 a night for electricity. Still absolutely bargainous! Something to look forward to in a few weeks!

    Free chips?! Excellent! :D

I've got home to find my cat is still 'spotting' with her cystitis. DH took her to the vets last Tues/Wed... should have cleared up by now, but looks like it's not! Back tomorrow then, and probably another £50-£100 down the drain.

I need to get some things on Ebay asap I think.

Poor puss. Can she not just be given some potassium citrate the same as a human would take? In a much smaller dose, obviously!!! YAY to free knocked-off cat food - I suppose that'll pay for the vet bill in a round-about kind of way.

Are you off camping this week? Hope the weather improves - it's dire this morning so far.
  • ahhhh poor cat :D hope it feels better soon i have cats but cant say ive had them with cystitus poor things xxx off to bed have a good debt busting day Xx
