(Bottom officially kicked... but only cos you asked!!;))

Hun, its understandable when you've been out of work and wages for a while and being so careful to go and blow some money... I'm trying my very best not to spend in advance of being paid... but its a lot harder than before... I've been so good for two months.

I think I need to do some spreadsheets and work out how paying off debt and when will help me acheive a decent debt free date... I need to see it making a dent to help me stick to it!! If I find any inspiration.. i promise to share!! xx

Hopefully you've been enjoying some of this nice weather with the camping.

Consider your butt well and truly kicked from this direction too. Shopping is the work of satan. (but soooo much fun)

Hey - Hope the weather holds out for camping!! I was camping at Isle of Wight this weekend though and was woken at 7am every morning by the sun making my tent into a sauna!! SOA is looking good, I wouldn't worry about having a little spend as long as it's just the once - don't fall into the same hole I have!! Are you going to look into getting the business back and running again then?

Hope work isn't too hot today!! I'm lucky with the air conditioning at mine!! x

I've been on a big fat downer, hence my absence. Campsite ruined my holiday by pitching a group of 20+ twenty-somethings around us. Yes I'm a twenty-something, but I didn't go there for that kind of holiday. It was like Blackpool. Though there were so many other pitches they could have sent them... we left 2 nights early. Halving my holiday. Very upset about it.

Money is ok. I haven't really spent anything. I don't know what I've been doing with myself. No productivity at home... no achievements etc.

Liz - Yep, we have no choice but to get the business up and running again. I'm quite looking forward to it now I have a 'normal' job to take care of the bills etc, allowing the business to be 'extra' income, not life or death! Should take the stress out of things. :D

I'm off to get back on the bandwagon. I've neglected absolutely everything online!

    Helloooo.

I've had a bad month & have avoided being online as much as possible. Lots of things going wrong, stressing me out to no end.

    - PC harddrive & whole system melted. Lost everything. Photos galore. Kept meaning to buy an external HD to back up but could never afford it. Relying on my Netbook now, and will do until we get a new PC. Which means using it for Ebay, business etc. Which is less than ideal.

    - Microwave is broke. Kettle is broke.

    - Mower broke. HAD to buy a new one for the sake of the knee high grass after the heat last week.

    - Keiko has an infection in her lip from that horrible (expensive) cystitis treatment. Has cost over £100 so far & she has to go again this week, they're talking about a biopsy.

    - I owe HMRC £46 for tax & they seem to want it immediately rather than say giving me 30 days to pay or what-not. I hate them.

So I'm 1 week into July & I have around £100 left and about £300 of bills to go out. Back to square 1. Not where I thought I'd be when I had a job! It's not like I can spend all day Ebaying to fill the gap.

Garage conversion is about halfway finished. But I feel like I'm going to have to start selling on Ebay before that's complete because we just can't keep up.

Whole house has some kind of DIY project going on in each room, so I can hardly find solace anywhere here at the moment.

The possible light at the end of the tunnel; DH has been selected to appear on a pilot show on C4. He has to go to Holland at the weekend for filming & should get paid 200 euros. Also week after that Chevrolet should be refunding me £135 for a service I paid for last year, because they 'forgot' to tell me I'd paid £199 when buying the car new, for a 3 year service pack. I would have been paying for another one next week if we hadn't phoned them last week to complain about an internal part rusting... typical.

I'm going to have a mooch around the diaries, you all inspire me & that's what I need right now!
