Tried sainsburys and their porridge was 85p for 1.5kg (almost a third of the price of Tescos rip off :T )

According to mysupermarket.com it is now £1.10 for 1.5kgs in sainsburys

You can tell I have not bought any for a few months as I have a few bags stashed in the cupboard.

Tesco Value Lightly Salted Tortilla Chips have gone up from 17p to 25p - I know they are still cheap but it's nearly a 70% increase. Used to buy them to take to the cinema :(

Although PG tips are on offer at the moment and still my favourite so will go and buy some of those.

Ok I think I've found the ultimate Tesco ripoff price - I know they are expensive and I hate them but they still managed to genuinely shock me with this one:

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/ProductDetails.aspx?Store=1&Product=18551

340g of sun pat peanut butter for almost THREE POUNDS!!

That's more than 4 times more expensive than Asda's own brand (700g for £1.48). And double anyone else's price (even Waitrose!)

I was in Wilkinsons yesterday and they had Sunpat jars flashed with 99p on the label but were charging 79p for them!
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

  • For ages I have been buying the kids pack of apples (Disney I think) for 99p. Last week they were £1.49, I thought that meant they might be on offer soon but still £1.49 this week. Needless to say I did not buy them, went to Lidl instead, still had to pay £1.19 though! (value apples in Asda too big for my liking!!). What happened to the value bags of apples?
