    Morning peeps

it`s a bit nippy outside me thinks as there is a bit of condensation on the insides of the windows, i`ve not been brave enough to open the door yet, i`ll leave that to DH who is running around getting ready for w*rk :D
    It`s not raining yet though.

The wm is on and the dw and bm have not long since finished so i shall empty the dw and then walk the houndies.
I must finish the shopping list before i go to fetch dad and take him to the shops, i`ve taken half a list before and it`s very frustrating

Hopefully i shall be back just after dinner time as i`ve tons to do.

Have a good Saturday peeps, catch up later.

    SD

    PS Welcome to Halight :hello:
Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    Good morning everyone,

Well, i dont know where all the time is going, i dont seem to have a minute to myself at the moment - during the week im working from 7.30 til 6 some days, and i tend to get up at 5.30 these days as well (so i can do my click sites before the baby gets here, no computer time when she is around!) so today ive had a lie in til 7.20, and im now here quickly with a lovely cuppa before i start on my clicks!
Nothing much has been happening here, myself and the children are fine, although DD and i have those horrid nits again - whatever we do makes no difference, someone at school obviously isnt treating their child/children so we are all suffering!
DS has a football match this morning, then his dad is taking him to London, as he has booked an Arsenal stadium tour tomorrow for his birthday (which was a few weeks ago) he didnt even ask DD if she wanted to go, and now he probably wonders why she refuses to even go for the day now with him - hopefully he will get here at a reasonable time and see DS play football, he normally misses it but so far has been making the right sounds about getting here in time.
So, DD and i are going to have a girly weekend, which will be great. However, will have to look for a new hoover as mine is puffing out smoke and a burning smell, so not risking it again, even tho my floor is desperate (will borrow a friends if i cant get one this weekend). I also need a new electric oven and washing machine (not sure where the money for all this is coming from!!) as the oven now only had one heat setting (full power) so is burning everything unless i stand by it constantly opening the door and turning it off etc, and the washing machine is leaking (its 10 years old, so debating about a new one or getting it fixed, might be cheaper in the long term to get a new one). Anyway, even if i dont buy anything, we need to look to see whats around and what the prices/offers are at the moment - might be an ideal time to haggle and get the prices down and things thrown in at the moment as shops try to encourage spending!! My credit card is always paid off monthly, so if i have to put something on there for a couple of months (wouldnt risk anymore) it might be worth it, we will see.
Well, ive rambled on enough, i hope everyone is well, ive not read the thread for ages now so love and hugs to everyone.

Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Morning :hello:

We watched Rambo last night, very gory and very good :D It cost 1p, if you've got Virgin TV then have a look at THIS.

I've bought new ink, I need more backing papers so the printer will be chugging away all day today lol.

I was pleased to see that Aldi was absolutely packed yesterday :D I just hope people continue to use it when (if?) things get back to normal. I nipped to Tesco for the printer ink, I wanted to grab people with ridiculous trolley loads and say 'look, I can help you out here.......' lol.

Well I'm missing cake so I really must make some today, even if I do have to mix it by hand

    Good Morning All

    ((((hugs))) whereever needed

Hello to Catowen :hello: (re the cooker have you thought about a Remoska in the meantime?)

    Hello Newbies :hello:

I know its bad that I have got the heating on but it was lovely to wake to a warm house this morning, especially as there was a slight frost outside.

Enjoying some lovely peace and quiet at the moment, OH has taken DS to Woolies to spend some of his birthday money and DD is still in bed. Did want to go to town but knew I would be tempted to spend money so stayed at home. WM & BM on, just about to wipe down the kitchen.

DS' birthday party last night - OMG there was 14 10 year old boys and 3 of them were nightmares. The girl in charge of our party said they were pretty good so she must have some real horrors at times - dont envy her job.

Today will be nice and restful, washing some light housework and ironing then sausages and mash for tea followed by Strictly - pretty much a perfect day. Will get the log fire going later also.

    Have a lovely Saturday.

    Morning all

Just sitting here with a cup of tea and a bacon sandwich :D Nothing planned for today, so might do some sorting and listing on Ebay.

Catowen, when I was in Netto the other day, they had hoovers reduced to £44.99, so might be worth a look

Troo, I know what you mean, maybe we should all advertise ourselves as shopping consultants ;)

Takeaway for dinner, so no cooking today

    Catch you all later xx

Forgot to say  to Halight

    Mornin

Earlier day for me, makes a change .
OH is still in bed snoozin away, I thought I'd leave him to wake when he is ready, yesterday was a real run around and since he was ill it seems to take it out of him....Roll on the Holidays.....we can both do with the break.

Dont really have any idea whats on the cards for today, one of those, take it as it comes day's. SC is ready to be filled up, braising beef and loads of veg and pots, I thought as its so COLD.
Had the heating on last night for a couple of hours, OH complained he was cold, he has said that a lot lately, and he never used to feel any temperature changes at all, comes from working outside for years I suppose.

Awful really when cost, starts to come before comfort sometimes, never used to even think about it at one time.

(((hugs))) for all the poorlys and the feeling downs and anyone else who needs one today xx

It could be the start of something BIG, we could walk round all the stores with badges on, would'nt earn anything but the satisfaction of saving money for thousands of peeps would be worth it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Morning Chums ,just off to college this morning. 'Victorian London' a short course that marries up with my Uni course.
Jolly cold in North Kent at the moment , have dug out a wooly scarve to keep me warm and even some gloves.
This afternoon I am taking my son-in-law and three of my grandchildren over to Bromley so he can plumb in my sis-in-laws s/hand washing machine that someone gave her.Its only two years old and in far better condition than her old one.
So we will be keeping three noisy little ones quiet for the afternoon. Then home to a pile of ironing that I didn't get around to yesterday. But I can watch some catch-up t.v. whilst I am doing it. I sometimes think I could do with an extra 12 hours in my day.Onwards and upwards folks <<hugs>> to those in need and I hope the rest of you have a good week-end
Still not spent any cash since Wednesday in my GC

    Morning Everyone

(((Hugs))) to everyone who needs one this damp morning.

DD upper arm is one massive bruise this morning but she still wants to go to ballet so I'm taking her but I'm going to let the teacher know what happened. While shes in ballet I will rush round the supermarket and nip to the pound shop for some bits for an Operation Christmas Child box, we do an collection every year at work can't beleive its come round so quick.

Tea tonight is Mr M's value curry sauce with left-overs. Apart from that its a washing mountain to contend with again.

    Have a good day everyone
